i've never used a sportsbook before in my life and opened an account with BetUS a week ago, my friend uses them and said they were pretty good. But at first it wouldn't take my cc deposit online, then they told me it was because my bank probably has international transactions blocked and for me to get that taken off. the person i spoke to on the phone seemed suspicious and i just didn't feel right, i looked online and saw that they have been known for shady buisness in the past and i panicked and cancelled my DC

now BetUS keeps calling me to do a wester union deposit and they have banned me from using a cc or DC, they say it's because of fraud. and i've tried a couple of other sportsbooks and they all have denied making me an account saying i have maybe had problems with sportsbooks before but in the end they can't tell me why, but betus will still take ** transactions from me...did betus blacklist me and attach fraud to my name or something?

i dont know if the answer is obvious or a stupid question so sorry in advance

Did you do a chargeback against a sportsbook or gambling site ever?

they red flagged your account with all the other books they share information with. if is on there forever now. they is their course of action now. redflag/blacklist everyone. no explanation as they dont want you to know just how much info they are sharing.

It could be the country you are from. If sportsbook get burned by chargebacks or even people just coming in for the bonus, they will look very hard at taking new customers from that country. You don't even have to be on a list. Word gets around. That is just one theory. You would likely need to tell us more details to figure it out.

CC chargeback lists I know exist even if it is just the same processor. I personally have never heard firsthand from anyone who has seen a banned list (excluding chargebacks) that gets any type of wide circulation among offshore books.

but yeah every website i called up said that i have a "suspicious history" with other sportsbooks or something along those lines...even thought i never betted ever anywhere. BetUS is the site that said i can't deposit because of Fraud but then told me that they can't tell me why or get me in contact to someone that could tell me why. They said they don't know what the fraud is for, they just know that fraud is connected to my name. i think thats a load of crap. i think their the ones that shitlisted me

Some CC and payment processors probably share chargeback and fraud databases, doesn't necessarility have to be gambling related. Some sportsbooks may have access to such info.

Look I had a chargeblck l Bets but it wasbt my fault they listed the charges as gam ling.But it takes 60 days for the processor go even notice that a chargeback has even happened.That's when they blacklist you from using the credit hard option .I do not play their anymore but some books do use the same processors for creditcards or example 5dimez bet jan and bet phoenix you can tell by looking at the interface they use.I have only heard of this happening only if the sportsbook had a sister book.
