Let me sum up the current situation with Betafterbet.

• They are not cooperating with SBR at all.
• They are not responding to e-mails anymore.
• Their live chat is constantly offline and they have a fake phone number.
• They offer fake excuses for not paying anyone. (At least offered)
• The web site is not fully functional and looks unfinished, including the withdraw form that never worked.
• The total sum of unpayed money according to SBR is 22924.60 EUR, in reality it probably is 10 times that.

Those facts all point to the conclusion that Betafterbet is not legitimate company. There are a couple of things we could do about it.

• Force them to shut down their operation completely to avoid damage to more people.
• Bring them to justice and stop them from relaunching the scam again.
• Reclaim at least part of our funds that they still have.

For starters I suggest we all send complaints to the following institutions:
(The more people complain the more seriously they will take it. And be sure to mention the total owned sum!)

Say that Betafterbet are not paying you and just about anyone and are probably scam. Say that there will be a legal action and their attitude towards this case will be publicly discussed.

Click on the “Give info” link and say that Betafterbet are committing fraud against citizens of EU (or mention your country) and ask for an investigation. You can create user and password there to follow your report.

I don’t have information about that, if anyone paid Betafterbet with CC, please check your statement and post here. Thank you!


In addition to that, I suggest we organize and submit a legal warning to Betafterbet that will be followed by a civil case. If anyone knows an Attorney Office that has experience with this kind of cases, please, share with us. I hope SBR will also help; they should have a lot of experience.

thanks ivanniklv for sharing all that contacts and your justice. I'm like more than 2 weeks and a friend of my about 1 motnh to receive the money and Betafterbet still does'nt pay. All of us have to make justice and have the money back. I have 490€ at my betafterbet account and I need urgently to withdraw and I sent mails and they don't reply anymore.

I already sent a complaint at LGA Malta; I think we also need to complain about LGA Malta Gaming Policy, they are becoming the Costa Rica of Europe with so many delinquent sportsbooks; I'd like to complain about this to the European Commission or European Parliament, anyone has any idea how to do that??

The idea also crossed my mind. But to bring the attention of EU commission, we must file a complaint together for all of us that are victims of the negligence of LGA. SBR can do better with this, they have more cases with thousands of people. SBR what do you say?

For now keep trying to complain to all those in the thread, including SBR. There are already a few responses, Moneybookers replied that they will pass this to the merchant department, Malta police has provided my report to the economic crimes unit. If there are some more results, I will post here.

My next step will be to organize a law suit. When I find more information I will let you know how you can join.

Good post ivan. The writing appears to be on the wall for BetAfterBet, a similar situation happened with another Malta book recently in Betonbet, I'm hoping that's not the case here but when a book refuses to cooperate with SBR AND won't even email their own customers, usually it's a sign to run.

Nobody is guilty of anything except betafterbet here. So don't imply otherwise! Not MSE people, not other people. If bookie offers a bonus, they should have the money to pay. When the money is gone, then stop the bonus, they can do this anytime. They even offered a reloads more than once! They did this on purpose, the whole operation is SCAM! There are always people that think other people's trouble is funny and they can make themselves interesting on others expense. But you will get in the same situation some day and I will see how you laugh then!

Not quite that simple. Bookies offer a bonus as a lossleader in the hope of attracting long-term business (ie losing customers). If all the new customers are going to withdraw as soon as meeting the bonus rollover, then a book can be heading for bankruptcy without actually knowing - it only becomes apparent when the withdrawal requests pile in.

A large book can absorb this and take the loss. A tiny new one can't.

But you will get in the same situation some day and I will see how you laugh then!

It is that simple. if a book is going to offer a bonus it needs assets to cover the bonus. If it does not have the money to cover the bonus then it is insolvent from day 1 and trading illegally
