Default Question about BetCris, DSI and Bookmaker

Hi, this is not a criticism of BetCris, DSI or Bookmaker, I like all 3 books, I am just trying to clear up a confusing issue.

I'll just keep the questions simple for now - can you have an account at all 3 books? Can you wager the limit at all 3 books? Can you accept bonus offers from all 3 books? I am not from the USA so there are no problems with country restrictions.

Thanks in advance for any info.

I know that you can have accounts at all three books.

I THINK the bonus issue is on a book-by-book basis ... if you're losing your shirt at CRIS, they'll probably give you a bonus, even though DSI might have cut you off of the bonuses if you're winning there.

Wagering the limit at all three books, that might be another story.

Halifax is spot on. What I can add is that they definitely frown upon somebody wagering the limit simultaneously at their different shops. Haven't played there in a couple of years now, so perhaps that policy has changed but I would seriously doubt it.

Thanks for the replies.

Customer service from these books has told me that its perfectly fine to wager the limit at all 3, accept bonuses from all 3 and of course have accounts at all 3.

However, I've heard different stories from other people who seem certain that you're definately not allowed to wager the limit at all 3.

That's why I asked the question on here because I've heard conflicting answers from different people.

hmm... about a year ago I asked them and was told it would probably be okay, but was at the discretion of the manager... So, I only kept BookMaker as my out. I am not sure who I contacted... Did you contact all three? Did all three give you the same answer?

Like anything, it's only a problem if you win.

you can have accounts at all 3. If you bet the limit at all of them, you'll find your limits reduced at 1 or more.. But they will pay you, and treat you fairly.

Claiming the sign-up or reload from all 3 will be frowned upon in your name alone, so as you are from UK you probably heard to sign up to Cris and Diamond in your name and BM in your lasses name but if you just want to wager then signing up to all 3 is OK.

Thanks for clearing that up Justin, looks like Customer Service may have made a little mistake when answering my question which is fair enough as people make do make honest mistakes.

As a general rule, if a group of sportsbooks belongs to the same "family" or "host", does this mean that your limits might be cut if you bet the limit at all of them? Or does this rule/policy just apply to BetCris, Diamond and Bookmaker? Is there a general rule in the industry regarding how bettors should act when betting within the same sportsbook "family"?

Also, if an un-educated bettor has his limits cut for betting the limit at 2 linked sportsbooks are they able to have their limits raised back to the original level if they explain that they were unaware of the link between the books and promise not to repeat their past mistake? Or are bettors expected to extensively research this type of information about their sportsbook before wagering? For example, in a hypothetical situation, if BetPhoenix and 5Dimes suddenly became linked without me hearing about it, would my limits be penalised for not keeping myself up to date and not finding out this new information?

I've only really started taking sports betting seriously at the beginning of this year so I'm still learning about the sportsbook industry so please forgive me if I am asking basic questions. I'd really like to learn as much as possible about this industry so I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.

Also, DukeJohn, when I contacted Customer Service via LiveChat I was told that the LiveChat serviced clients and answered questions for all 3 books.

Just a quick note on what I do. I only keep 1 book from each "family" except with the Greek & BetJamaica... I no longer have balances at BetAllSports or Wagerstreet because their limits are too low, however even though they are in the Greet family BAS & Wagerstreet are practically the same book...
