Default want to start small 20-50 local sports book eventually grow suggestions

im a small time sports gambler looking for an experts opinion on starting a small 1-5,000 total limit credit wagering sportsbook, previously attempted a small operation but failed miserable i believe for lack of the proper guidance. I believe i can easily start with a customer base between 10-15 customers keeping them within a 1,000 to 5,000 dollar a week limit and build my customer base from there. Im inquiring on your thoughts on proper bankroll and player limits and if you reccomend using offshore lines or a line service im also thinking about using pay per head to handle phone operations, so in your opinion what would a resonable starting bankroll be i dont want to lose medium range customers getting near 500 for some games. In terms of settle up days and limits that was the only aspect handled properly. Also your thoughts on laying off action to other books. I apologize if this is out of line, hoped the quiet atmosphere of the internet was the best way to attain this knowledge. Also any other words of wisdom you might have would be greatly appreciated

I'll guide you if you answer a few questions: 1) How old are you? 2) What is the amount of capital you have up front? 3) Do you have a job? If so, doing what? 4) Do you know how much PPH shops charge for an operator such as yourself—and how they operate? Tell me what you know. 5) Do you want this to eventually become your full-time thing, or do you just want to build a side business to the main thing you do? 6) Of these 10-15 players you had, how many played several times a week, and how many were event players? 7) Why do you think you can grow your customer list?

We can do this in private via PM, or out here in the open. Your call.

Make sure that wherever you do this, it is legal. In the US, illegal bookmaking is typically a felony. If someone calls you to place a bet, it could be a federal felony.

If you get big, you'll draw attention and it will go badly.

Stick to beating the sportsbooks - it's easier, and more legal.
