Default Question for JoshW--or other dispute handlers

Is there a preventive documentation strategy that you would recommend to us?

I figure as you go about communicating with books there must be times when you say to yourself, "If only the player had taken a screen shot of this or that." I try to take one of all my confirmation screens, but I often forget.

Or is the answer that in these disputes better player record keeping wouldn't make any difference?

Read the rules - especially bonus rules.

If you disagree with a book, keep your cool. Contact CS, or a CS manager if the low level CS guy cannot get it done. Write out your argument clearly, and tell them the exact relief you want.

Record keeping almost never matters... I've only seen one dispute where a book changed bets and lied about it (Shilbet).
