you do know the cash-back offer was only valid for funds that were uploaded from your bank account to your moneybookers-account prior to depositing?

Yep, I got excited when I first read the promo ... then I noticed this part.
Moneybookers are quite stupid .. they have a lot of clients, and particularly VIP clients, who have an "offshore bankroll" that they use for gambling. Once someone has enough money in the "system" (the system of online sportsbooks + Moneybookers), they don't have any need to fund their Moneybookers accounts with any "new" money.
I think all they did with this promotion, by making it contingent on uploading "new" money, was piss off a lot of people, including Peep, myself, and others.

I'm not sure you get what's going on here.
Moneybookers makes their money when you transfer funds from your Moneybookers account to the merchant (sportsbook, poker room, casino, etc.).
Moneybookers does NOT make any money when you transfer "new" funds from your bank account to your Moneybookers account.
So why should Moneybookers care whether you transfer funds to a merchant using (1) funds that are already in your Moneybookers account, (2) funds that you have recently transferred to your Moneybookers account via wire, or (3) funds you have recently transferred to your Moneybookers account via withdrawals from merchants ?
I guess they're trying to get people to send new money into the "system", but it's pissing off a lot of people who already have an ample amount of money in the "system", and don't need to make any new wire transfers to get funds into Moneybookers.

I guess most people did not read the terms of the offer. I, for example, made 2 withdrawals/deposit which were not really necessary before I read the whole offer

I uploaded money from my bank account and then transferred it but I didn't get the 1% but about half of that. Pissed off. I know they don't answer emails. I will go back to Neteller. Can not be bothered chasing them for what they promised

I just got the rest of the promotion paid into my account. I didn't contact them to enquire about it either. They must have realised their error
