5 Dimes cutting limits after withdrawal requests
Back in June, I requested a $3,000 withdrawal from 5 Dimes which was processed promptly. However, the next day my betting limits were cut from 100% down to 50%.
I just requested a withdrawal from 5 Dimes yesterday (only withdrawal since the one back in June) and I just found my betting limits were cut down from 50% to 20%.
Unfortunately, the maximum amounts I can bet on their reduced juice events is now $100 with even lower limits on prop bets.
I have a call in to discuss this bet limit reduction with Tony and was wondering if anything similar has happened to anyone posting here.
Does anyone have any advice on what I can possibly say to have reasonable betting limits with 5 Dimes as they are a "must have" with their huge array of betting options and I would hate to lose them.
The vast majority of my bets with them are regular straight bets on baseball, football with lots of 3 and 4 team round robin parlays. I always thought this kind of action was encouraged and welcomed.
By the way, I'm not a steam player and don't jump on line movements.
Any suggestions would be helpful and thanks in advance.

The reduced line set at 5dimes is for losers only.
I wouldn't bother calling tony, he won't give you your limits back.

Tony refers to himself as god so you probably will not be able to get him to change his mind. If you beat him with mostly prop bets he gets pissed and acts like you are stealing from him. Good luck with your chat.

I have never had any book restore my limits after they have cut them.
I have never heard of anyone having their limits restored. Has anyone?
So that is a tree not worth barking up IMO.
5 Dimes has never cut me either Brian. But I have heard of enough posters who have to believe they do, and quite agressively too.

"Tony the ass" is an understatement. I understand that 5dimes pays and pays its customers quickly but how can a GM treat its so called "valued" customers so poorly and with such little respect and still get away with it is beyond me. Richard at betphoenix and Scotty and betjamaica also pay its customers promptly yet also treat thier customers with the upmost courtesy and respect. Tony needs to learn and thing or two!!!

PLEASE, after you speak with Tony, post as much of the conversation as you can remember here. I will enjoy reading the Tarantino dialogue later.

I would be incredibly surprised if your limits are increased to previous levels. Not saying it's impossible, and I wish you luck. But once 5Dimes has you in their gunsights, you have about as much chance of escape as a Soviet-surrounded Hitler in 1945 Berlin.

I have received Tony's wrath and it was a hilarious (but to be honest he had a point as I was hitting bad lines and should have known better). In the end he simply warned me not to do it again.
Even with Tony being an ass, he pays lightening quick. I have had a lot of withdrawals from them over the last 3 years and never ever a single issue. I will take that over about anything. I don't need my sportsbook manager to be my cuddly friend. I just want them to pay quickly and hassle free.

I once got my limits restored. I was doing something I shouldn't have been, I got my limits cut, I promised to stop doing it and gave up the relevant sport and wager type, in exchange my limits were restored. Very civilized. It was not, however, 5 Dimes, which was a great place to be until they decided they wanted me to be somewhere else. Maybe I missed out on a fun rant.

DSI is the only place I've had limits reversed. Something about them not being able to limit specific sports. I promised to stop betting what I was, and they increased the limit.
I wouldn't expect that at 5dimes, especially not on the reduced juice set.

Only way to get limits back in my experience it to agree to stop betting certain things you are killing the book on. Either that or have someone whose ego is so big, you can convince him that he can handle your action. This is not 5Dimes specific advice, just in general.

odds on regular straight bets on baseball are better in Pinnacle
also when odds have been changed you can bet on your selection once more

Come to think of it, Gameday didn't throw me out once as long as I promised not to bet props. Guess that is sort of the same.

screen shot or it didn't happen.
Even if you did make the 20k, I find it hard to believe that 5 dimes would not limit you.
Epic Fail

I have no trouble believing the 20K withdrawal statement, as I have done it in the past as well (30K over several increments, in the space of about 2 months).
5Dimes will let you win, it's just that when they decide enough is enough, they move swiftly and decisively. In my case, it went from lowering limits, to a 15 second delay, then a 25 second delay and finally complete banishment, all in a relatively brief time period.
