Whats so frustrating is seeing checks before others. Good news for those, but it holds no merit for those who have earlier withdrawals. *sigh*

There "could" be something to the USA or not thought....
A guy in the poker room said he got paid $1400 in ten days but did NOT live in the USA.
Just sharing what I heard as I got my money out of WSEX 18 months ago...

glad to hear that. Did they ever email you a tracking number?
I ask because I am concerned- I moved apartments last weekend (same building, different unit) and want to be able to figure out when these checks will be delivered to my old apt. I don't think it would be wise to try to get wsex to change my address at this point, as I've been waiting 4 months now. I will literally wait outside my old apt door for the fedex man if I have a tracking number and know what day it will be delivered

carysb7478, I advise you to call WSEX and give your new address. I also would suggest you try to transfer your balance(up to $2500) to Matchbook. There is a 4x rollover. Much preferable to waiting months for a maybe payout.

The next day, I tried again. I put the subject as "Hello". A CS responded.
After being told my checks were "still in processing", I asked if I could cancel and do a Matchbook transfer instead. I was told that if I were eligible for Matchbook transfers, then yes, I could transfer up to $2500 per week for a $50 fee. I told her to cancel my April check and give me a Matchbook transfer for $2500 this week. She said OK, send an email.
I sent an email. The next day I still hadn't heard anything. I resent the email. I still did not get any email reply, but later I noticed that the money had been transferred into my MB account.
There is still hope.
|
To update my story, I have tried to do another $2500 MB transfer, but was told you can only do one per month.
I guess when the month is up I will do another transfer, because I still have a check pending from Feb 22nd.

Sent WSEX an email and received a "genuine" response but similar to the other sugar coated emails.
Dear Chris,
Thanks for contacting World Sports Exchange with regards to your withdrawal request.
We currently are still sorting out our processing issues but we can assure you that your withdrawal will be completed. Everything should be resolved shortly so we would greatly appreciate any additional patience from you.
Should you have further questions we can be contacted via the live chat option, email or the number listed below.
Regards,
Jerron.

Not sure I agree that is genuine. Sounds exactly like the fluff they been telling me by phone and by email since March. Any time you contact them, "the problem is almost fixed."

Well it's been a couple of months I've been with WSEX and never had any problems with them. Of course I knew about the issues concerning slow payments etc. but I've never cared too much about them. WSEX just IS NOT a company that wants to steal your money or whatever some people think here. WSEX really means something within the bookmakers industry and the people it employes are not liars or whatever despite of some problems they might have at the moment. I am pretty sure that all of those with pending withdrawals will get their money sooner or later. I have never stopped placing bets with WSEX and I will keep on being their customer. Just think if all of their clients would be thinking like some of you guys here and would withdraw all of their funds and terminate business with WSEX..only that would really ruin them..But thanks God the majority are not thinking in this way....and I believe this bookmaker will sooner or later takes the place that it deserves... A+....Just to mention..my mb withdrawal of $1000 was processed in less then 2 weeks. SO be optimistic and give them a chance!!!

I highly doubt they would ever intentionally slow pay anyone. They're broke they're not a stiff book big difference. This is make or break time football is around the corner. I will most likely play @ this book until the end of times. Just hope they can begin paying out within even a month guaranteed and I could be patient and live with that. However, 4 or 5 months and they're doomed.

Hey Carysb I second what Chuck said. If you haven't already I'd call WSEX and have them update address. A few pages back I wrote about moving and missing out on a check only to be returned to the processor and credited back to my account. Supposedly you don't lose your place in the queue by changing address so better to be safe as I've received a few checks without ever receiving any tracking number until "knock knock" surprise Fedex is at the door.

Well I know about the situation now but the name, the history, the years of service make me believe WSEX WILL NOT be doomed that early. I am not a shill or whatever somebody could say here, I do not care, I just go on betting with them n as I said I never encountered a problem with WSEX. Of course I do understand that it is frustrating for all of u that have been waiting months for ur own money but as for this Id at least not be that pessimistic, Im pretty sure WSEX will pay to all of those waiting. If they did not want to do that theyd close the door months ago when their reputation started to go down and took everything. BUT THEY DID NOT.

As you are so confident, prove it : make a new (big) deposit on wsex.
It might speed up some payouts ;-)

I keep my balance on around $500 +- winnings losses...I dont think that would speed up the payouts ....but that is what I can afford..Im not a "big bettor"....ok 4me...but definitely I continue to bet with WSEX.

pangasius's posts should be deleted for attempting fraud on sbr's very own posters. Just because it was A+ 3 years ago gives them no right to act the way they have been doing this past year and a half. Cascade was an A book too at one point, people kept giving it a try and look what happened. Books fold plain and simple no matter how many years they are in the industry. A sportsbook's reputation should be judged on a month-to-month basis, not its whole body of work. This industry is all about the now.

I have no plans to change my address. I'm guessing whoever said that, was hoping I would so that they could move up in the queue. I contacted wsex and they said it would take longer if I changed addresses. Was also told by the chat lady it would be "a while longer"....4+ months now

I was trying to give what I thought was solid intel. Guess I was wrong on them changing order in the queue, as this is NOT what I was told. Personally, I wouldn't count on a tracking number, but if you are in the same building you can at least check the door periodically for a Fedex delivery attempt. I moved several hundred miles away so this wasn't an option. I too thought I'd receive tracking and then give Fedex a call to coordinate delivery to my new address. Alas no tracking #'s via WSEX, and a week later I get an email. (below)
Dear xxxxx,
We have just been informed that after attempts to deliver a fed ex check # 4xxxxxxxxxxx , it had to be destroyed . Check amount is $3000.
Address that check was sent to was:
xxxxxxx
xxxxx
xxxx
If you need further assistance , please do not hesitate to call in.
Anyway, your situation is different than mine same building etc... But if you miss your check and it gets returned don't expect them to rush a new one. (I had to wait a few months all over)

C'mon man. They owe ~200,000 dollars. How can any of what you said hold any weight or how can you have an outlook like that? Next week(s) there will be even more reports of no pays and you'll still hum that same tune?
Unless they are being truthful and are having a hard time paying USA customers and no one else...then i guess i see your point...but we dont know any of that.

I've been getting a couple max payouts/month for the past year via Moneybookers. Just reporting the facts. I don't plan on re upping with them anytime soon.

I know of some Aussies who've been waiting months too
I expect though that there are enough fools out there to deposit enough for the NFL season to clear the logjam of withdrawals. The the fun starts all over again at the end of the season.
