Default lionsportsbook.com

Hello,

My name is Luis and I was interested in playing at lion sports book. I was at a local sports bar in town and a gentleman handed me his business card and said I should signup on the internet. I really want to find someone that I can have a long-term business relationship with and wanting to get some information regarding them. If this is in the wrong section I'm sorry I just used the link from lionsportsbook.com and came up to this.

Where do you see that?

I don't see an SBR rating for them.

It's black-listed: http://www.sportsbookreview.com/BlackList/default.aspx

Not on the regular SBR rating guide.

Stereo, DO NOT sign-up and send them any money.

According to SBR, it's a scam.

Hello Stereo, This is the right place for concerns, i will be perfectly honest with you, i believe your a schill for them, however in case im wrong and you are just the average Joe looking for info this is what i can tell you.

Very strong possibility the guy who gave you his card in your local bar is anything but a gentleman.

If you are looking for a long term relationship with a sportsbook, new books are not the way to go, as they have not past the test of time, However there are a few new ones who seem to be heading in a good direction, BETPHOENIX and BFC.

At the moment your best bet for a long term relationship with an offshore shop would be Pinnacle, The greek, Betjamaica, Matchbook, or BOOKMAKER, 5dimes, heritage IMO.

This part is very important, so pay attention!

There is a long time poster that frequents many of these forums, who goes by the handle of AK, He has been promoting this lionsports on other forums, his reputation is that of a dirty weasel who is said to have scammed and stiffed many people and other shops.

His real name is common knowledge to many on these forums,i would never say it on an open forum, but a little leg work on your part and you will find out all you need to know to come to your decsicion.

not sure if this link is allowed here, but if it is, heres a good thread to read.

SBR has lionsportsbook as offline. The last info about them was about three years ago.

Maybe some new people bought the domain name, unaware of the reputation. Who knows?

Does SBR have any info about this?

Yeah, your right. Does anyone notice that these 'questionable' sites that you check out every now and again when you see them on the forum, always looks the same!

They seem to look like a cheap site at first glance, they most likely all use the same software.

They offer decent bonuses, may be I will make a deposit

They can't even get their wording right:

"50% FREE PLAY - reloads*

Build Your Bank Roll!
Increase your bank roll by an incredible 30% when you reload your account with Lion Sportsbook

Make an deposit of $100 or more and you will instantly receive 30% FREE PLAY"

Now the above is just plain lazy

Thanks for your determination on helping me find the answer I'm looking for. For now, I'm going to continue pondering depositing there. I have no idea, AK?? How does one go about saying that name? Thanks for searching out this site and telling me more about them. I figure I will go low and deposit $40 dollars and see how that plays out. I would basically like to invest in football this year. As for lion sportsbook, the future rests on my knowledge of sports betting and if I can actually earn some money. I really have run out of things to invest in and there's no point in just watching football. So for now, I'm out. I'll see you later. -- Luis

Why send money there when there are plenty of reputable books?

Take a look around this forum....books like The Greek, BetJamaica, Pinnacle (if you live outside the US), and many others will pay you if you win.

SBR uses ratings: http://www.sportsbookreview.com/Rati...+/default.aspx

Safer to play at A and B books.

I was going to say the exact same thing. Even if you're only depositing $20 - $40, you may as well deposit it with a book that you can least trust. Lionsportsbook.com is a sportsbook I personally do not trust.

Not a smart one at all if he is indeed a shill, which he does appear to be. Should have looked at the big F SBR has for that book.

Or maybe he's just not a logical thinker. Told to stay away from scam book but he says he'll try them anyway. There are people like that in this world.

Why ask our opinion then if he's just going to completely ignore it? I think he is a shill.

AK did talk me into playing in this book. I put in $100, got a $100 matchplay.

There were slow to move/betable numbers, so I had no trouble making my 5X, did that in four days. I got paid $900, in a combination of Moneybookers and **. Still have a $100 in there, which I will bet out this week.

SCAM.......big deal they paid a known forum guy 900 bucks. They would be stupid 3 weeks before football to stiff a well know poster. Your post will most likely get them unwitting guys who will wind up getting stiffed.

STAY AWAY

Hello

I do understand the concepts regarding the risk involved betting with a local or internet type of website. I have came here by luck to get a few answers regarding them since they have a website link to this website.

The reason I went ahead and deposited with them was the simple fact Al seemed like a level minded trustworthy guy. I ran into Al again at a sports bar where he purchased around $30 in drinks for me.

I have already lost 62% of my balance. Either way the experience has been paid for in drinks and has been really fun. The games are so much better to watch with dollars on the line.

Peep, how did You get paid for your profit? Could You recommend any article type of sportsbetting knowledge to read?

I got paid $900. $250 Moneybookers and rest **.

As one poster pointed out, this is chicken feed, can't really say much about that. Even a ponzi will pay to the first few customers.

I don't know of any good books really. My best advice would be to look at props and learn one or two of them really well, go from there.
