how long do you think will the betting industry survive the recession? and which books do you think will fall down soon?

I think the restrictions on payment processors hit the books worse. So if they survived that, they can likely survive this, but there is no doubt that a down economy has hurt US facing books to some degree.

On another note - which Costa Rica and Central American sportsbooks will survive if America legalises gambling and allows US sportsbooks.

Not many because apart from Pinnacle these sportsbooks don't get many players outside the Americas.

i think the problem that could be encountered by these books is how many players are joining. Which is affected whether or not they accept people from other countries. Maybe legalisation will be a bright idea but then, there are other consequences that books and players will receive..
