are you sure about this? where did you here this? if this will happen, it will be the second time that Mansion will be closing. Did you arrive to this coz they are always having system maintenance? I think they are redesigning or upgrading of some sort. and if in any case that they will really shut down, you can still have 188BET and 12BET.

Just received 'August Newsletter' touting the new soccer season. Looks like they intend to stick around.

Bet911.com will be taking over mansion88's advertizing spot on asianbookie.com!!!!!

It seems that Mansion88 has closed because now they have the exact limits and odds has 12Bet. I thought it was strange that their limits had gone up when i compared their odds to 12Bet they was exactly the same and moved at the same time. So its not worth having a Mansion88 account and a 12Bet account anymore.

So far, I haven't encountered any seriuos problem with 12BET...
Moreover, I've already closed my account with mansion88....

Sorry for the misinformation on this we just couldn't afford the high price these guys want to charge its not worth the turn over that we would get from there

12Bet have limited me to £250 today and Mansion88 to £800. I stopped using Mansion88 when they had the same odds has 12Bet.

Don't take it personally guys. It's not a personal limit but a new company police.

ye took out my money right away when I saw the $350 limit...
why do they think we will use them whit that crappy limit when we can use 188bet or sbobet...

Am interested in this. Why would 12bet offer such low limits. Have they always been known for lower limits? I was under the impression that they were in the same range of books like 188bet or SBObet that take very large action. That isn't the case?

Personally i think its got something to do with joining up with Mansion88. Limits at Mansion88 was poor before they had a makeover then the limits was raised to 12bet standards. We are talking £536 £1226 right up to £14,000 max bets on Premiership games before kick off. Next thing we see 12Bet cut to £250 a slip bet, max of £750 per match and Mansion88 doing the same.

Sbobet are the same, they might be the market leader in putting up the games first but like 12bet now you cant bet more than £1,000 on a game.

I feel with 188bet having a makeover with their website it wont be long before they follow which then leaves Pinnacle.

Ive noticed that asiabet88 has the same sort of website and odds has 12bet, does anyone who has a account there know if the limits have been lowered to?

not sure about your experience with sbobet, but my limits haven't changed over there and are a lot higher than 1k a game (apart from minor leagues which have always had lower limits per hit)

My limit has always been £1,000 per game ever since i opened up with them.

Thats interesting if your limits is higher than mine when mine has always been 1k. I thought everyone was on 1k or there about in a different currency.

What currency do you have your account in?

how can they go bankrupt? Sampoerna is huge, the owner is a multi-billionaire

if all is concerned with the limit that 12BET just had, did any of you tried to contact them and asked if it is possible to request a higher limit? I read in one of the forums that it is possible. Just would like to echo that here in this thread. hihi!

I wouldn't fret over it right now as the season has just started, wait till it's full swing then you can go over the limits and whatnot arguments. The limiting is probably a currency control and the inconsistent jump of max bet is probably due to the daily timing. I believe most asian books offer low limit early in the day and will increase them a few hours before kick off.

I personally think that as a serious sportsbook they should not offer high betting limits, what they should be doing is balancing the book, making profit from margin. The higher the limit they offer the more dangerous position they have to take, good example is pointbet several years ago when they went bust because of their high limit and couldn't hedge out balances, thus taking unnecessary risks.

You have nice argument here. The thing is, asian books have been known for high betting limit. Compared to US or European books, asian books doesn't limit you that much. This is why most of European punters made noise when 12BET cut down their limits. But sure 12BET has reasons for this. As you said, they should balance everything otherwise, they won't make any profit.

I withdrew 3k from 12bet last night, this morning my limits have gone from 1000 to 150. Seems like they are just like most books.

For a long long time Asian books did not discriminate between squares and sharps, but this has all changed now.
