Default Payout request Bookmaker vs. BetJamaica

I am starting this thread to provide the members of SBR feedback as to the experience of requesting a payout from these two organizations (from request to delivery to deposit to hopeful clearance of funds).

Request One: Made at 2:15PM 8-1-09 via BookMaker using "free payout" option. Will be sent regular mail.

Request Two: Made at 2:15PM 8-1-09 via Bet Jamaica using "free payout" option. Will be sent Courier mail.

Difference in delivery methods?-I prefer regular mail because I am rarely home to sign.

Let us know how it goes. I have never requested regular mail. I hope it doesn't take 30 days.

It may be alot better now, but the last time I requested a BM Fed Ex it took 2 weeks. Id hate to try regular mail with them, but its been awhile, so maybe things are better now.

Bet Jam gets me Fed Exs in less than 24 hours if I request early in the morning. This should be a interesting thread. To bad you didnt request Fed Ex (courier) by both then it would have been a contest between them to see who would get you paid 1st.

Very smooth for Bet Jamaica so far. 2 hours later it is processed. An email confirmation would of been nice but I could understand why so wouldn't want that.

: So there are two considerations here. Looks like I missed the 12:00PM cutoff and was Saturday a "Natural Day" +yawning-

You can write a short letter saying its ok to leave the package and tell them where to leave it. Then sign letter. They will leave courier where you want it left.

i don't think anyone is faster than greek or betjam, but i think you should have used the same method , in order to get a fair comparison

Well, they are the same method if you base it on the fact that he has requested a free payout option.

Yep...looking at "processing" times. Looks like Bet Jamaica's should go out today. I'll update when Book Makers is "processed" ---> I assume it should or will be coming out of the US and if not we'll just go by the "stamp mark" on the envelope. My guess is they will ship via courier either way.

I've used regular mail at Matchbook, I think it took like 2 weeks, I forget, but at least I saved $30.

Also, as someone mentioned earlier, you can leave a signed note taped to your front door telling FedEx to leave the package (under the mat or whenever you want) and they will do so.

Most prolly already know this... but if you don't want your FedEx package hanging outside your door, you can call FedEx and have them drop it at the Kinko's that is closest to you. Usually Kinko's are close to shopping or restaurants.... so get more shit done w/ no hassle.
