Just wanted to vent about a shady bet cancellation from 7/29 that's still pissin me off. Shortly after the first 5 inning MLB lines opened on Wednesday I bet the max (only 500 on 1st 5) on the nationals 1st 5 innings +178. The line at the time at pinnacle was +171 so I felt I was getting a decent deal at this price. Anyway I happen to log back in a half hour later and there's a message there for me saying the bet was cancelled due to a bad line. Now I'm sorry but there is no way this bet should have been cancelled.....MLB lines move all the time and betjm often has opinionated lines. 7 cents difference from pinny justifies a cancellation? I think not. Now what really gets my blood boiling is I went back to the drawing board for the game and since the 1st 5 line was now +171 and I was able to get +190 for game elsewhere, the 19 cent disparity made me take the +190 for game instead. Now you know what I'm about to say.....naturally the Nats 1st 5 won, but they lost for the game. I dunno if I should file a complaint now but I at least wanted to get this out there, be aware of it people and if they try it on you call it and demand to speak with a manager I know I will next time.

Bet Jamaica has done this crap before. This was not an error line. But you should of bet the 1st 5 innings on what the new line was and then make a complaint to get the difference if the bet won. I do not know what you expect from BJ now.

I don't know about you but I think betjam should honor his bet. I mean we can't sit in front of computer all day hitting refresh to see if bet is going to get cancel or not due to bad line. And like he said, it was only difference of 9 cents.

Why is everyone so quick to ask for ratings drop on books? The thing that separates SBR from other places is that they dont just drop books at the drop of a dime and also dont move them up because they paid one player. The bigger picture needs to be taken into consideration before people are so quick to jump the gun and demand drops. BETJM has been one of the best books I have ever played it next to Heritage and Bookmaker, dropping them because they might have misposted a line is hardly justified...

I'll reiterate what CollegePro stated.....Contact Scotty if at all possible. There's a lot of shady characters in this profession obviously, but he is definitely at the other end of the spectrum. I imagine if you can presnt your situation to him, it will be resolved fairly quickly.

jersey the sbrlines feed for betjm wasnt working today until about 40 min ago which you probably noticed thats what happened there......but here's a perfect example of their opinionated lines they have the COL@CIN game at -167/+157 right this moment while Pinny has -160/+152. I guess they are free to cancel any decent sized wagers that come in on cincy now? Thanks for the support and advice guys, I tried contacting Scotty today and will continue to do so until I speak with him directly.

This error was just brought to my attention. This obvious error of a jr. line monitor here at BetJM occurred a couple of days ago when they opened that event at -191 or -181 which ever.

In the case of any line error they are to immediately notify a Manager whom will handle it properly. This was not done nor was it handled properly. I am responsible for the staff and except full blame for the blatant decision error.

Errors and excuses are just that and I agree 100% any baseball line off 5% can’t be considered a bad line under any circumstances. This should have never been cancelled period.

Please accept my personal apology for the error and keep my direct office number and email if anyone ever has any problems at anytime.

We do pride ourselves on being a fair and honest service so this crow is now mine to eat.

Well I'd like to thank Scotty for going above and beyond my expectations to help make things right. It's also nice to know I can deal directly with the big dog if I have any issues very few businesses are run that way these days unfortunately. I was considering moving funds out of betjm but now will continue to play there
