Would a pro book allow a sharp to exist if he pulled down $10,000 to $20,000 per week?

What's the maximum amount that a pro book is willing to stomach per week, prior to implementing any anti-pro bettor counter measures (limits, double lines, etc)?

If you are originating... You wouldn't even be noticed at Pinny, Greek or Cris. Smaller books will freak out over much lesser amounts.

OF course you will be noticed. At greek Spiro will freak the **** out and act like you are stealing his own plays. At pinny you may get a phone call to work for them. Only real bookmaker would be CRIS who actually books and doesnt bet it out.

By originating, he means betting your own stuff... not betting steam, following popular services that move lines, etc.

i very much doubt whether books nowadays are still able to tell who is an originator and who's not (are you creating or following steam, who knows), and consequently whether this would matter with regards to you getting cut or not.

No book will let you take 20k a week from them, they might still take your action but put you on a delay and jack 1/2 points on you.

7/10's of the books would be out of business if this went on for a month or better. Pinny wouldnt mind as long as you were not beating the closing line consistently. Your best bet would be set up an account at BetFair. If you are in the US you would need to jump through a few hoops.

this is a good thread.. Best move to go to Vegas hit different books.. No offshore would let that happen plus it would be hard to move that kind of money

never been there but from what i've read getting money down with vegas books having beat them consistently in the past also isn't all that easy

totally agree, even if you won and they allowed it how would you move that amount of money, you could probably win alot in vegas before , you have problems , and even then you could get other people to place your bets, its seems more likely in vegas
