I think there will be about at least 4 by the end of the year. I do see maybe the Sprio group going in with Heritage Sports and being their back up on the financial end of this.

Maybe in the not to far future there will be changes to allow Internet gambling inside the USA with all the budget short falls nationally and at the state level I look for someone to step up and after one does and the others see the revenues the rest will fellow!!!!!!!!

I can easily see something happening with online poker first then sports will follow behind that. I do think that only states that allow gambling in their states will be allowed though. They may make it a state by state issue. You may see people flock to the states that allows it. I can easily see Iowa allowing it. I have heard things in recent years that Iowa wants to have sports gaming and make them the mid west Nevada when it comes to gambling and another state I have heard about it is in Delaware. Those two states are considering passing laws to make it legal to wager on sports and it would be up to the federal level for it to take place though.

The best books left will be: 5 Dimes, Bookmaker, DSI, Betfair, and even betfair is a stretch.

I don't think I can even name 15 B rated or better books that currently take US customers. I'd be lucky to name 10 even. Let me try:
    1. 5Dimes A+
    2. Bodog A
    3. DSI/Diamond A+
    4. BetOnline B+
    5. YouWager B
    6. Legends A+
    7. JustBet B+
    8. RebateWager B
    9. Heritage B+
    10 ??????

What else is there? I'm not counting books like Bookmaker or BetGuardian(among others) because they have the same Parent Company as one of the books that I've already named. What other books are there that take US customers that are B rated or better? I'm sure there are several but I can't seem to think of any others.

i hope that you're right, but i'm not optimistic. country is predominated by a bunch of fantasy sports playing, facebooking chicks. Congress would be more likely to pass a law requiring that all phones offer facebook and twitter apps than to undertake a common-sense move like legalizing and taxing sports gambling within the US. to put it another way, because it makes so much sense, i doubt it will happen. but we can live in hope.

Move to the stock market. The simple reality is that, by comparison, books rip you off with every bet you place. If you bet 10K on a stock, you pay 5 or 10 bucks for the transaction. That would be about 1K in juice with sportsbooks.

your numbers are quite a bit off.
    1) if you are talking 20 cent lines (-110 on each side like nfl) with no bonus money or rewards, then the juice is around 4.5% on sports bets
    2) if you bet 10k on a $10 stock you are out commission on both ends (let's say $10) plus if the bid is 10.00 the ask is at least 10.01 so if you bought and sold right away you would lose at least another $10 making it $30 total juice for one buy/sell.

but the truth is that with bonus money sports betting has a positive long-term expectation and day-trading the stock market has a negative long-term expectation (no bonuses or reward kickbacks)

Define genuine--what are A qualities in your opinion?. Legendz is as safe as any Book around, easily an A Book by most standards.. Very hard to win there, though.

Actually there is no chance at all this will happen. Literally 0% chance. There is legislation on the table and it is the same legislation they have been trying to pass for years now. It legalizes online poker for licensed US sites and it clamps down on online internet sports gambling. There is no legislation even being talked about for sports gambling other than the one to strengthen the UIGEA and make it harder on the offshores. There will never be legalized online sports gambling because of the NFL and a myriad of other factors.

    Your poll should have been 0-3, 4-6, 7-10, 11-15.

How many guys got rich day trading vs. gambling?

How many guys can make a comfortable living day trading vs. gambling?

Just think about it. Please don't try and answer.
