A book that doesn't even know how to bcc, let alone set up proper mailing list software, isn't particularly encouraging.

The e-mail says 'Phoenix', but the e-mail address goes to Jay at Sports-1. So which book is this with?
I remember another nice offer from a Betphoenix turnkey...

They routinely offer big bonuses. They seem to have lots of cash.
They need to stop sending our email addresses out to hundreds of other degenerates. Now.

I'm not too impressed. The guy won't even respond to e-mail.
So if anyone from Betphoenix is reading this, I want to know if this is for BetPhoenix (the e-mail seems to suggest so, but originated from sports-1), if I can transfer the amount from Matchbook, and if I can bet the deposit plus free play (total 800) at once.

I'm not too impressed right now either.
They claim the bankwire they credited me for last week never came, and now my account is suspended. Yet, said bankwire was certainly sent.

I apologize for the sales rep's error.
It is a Phoenix limited time offer to honor the Fourth of July, and an impact promo over a small time frame. You can play it how you see fit adhering to the free-play rules and rollover requirements.
Durito,
I will work on your wire issue personally...I do not want you to cash that over! I will PM you in the Morn.

I think my account got moved to 20 cent lines when I took the promotion.
I am not too worried about it though, as I mostly bet halftimes and props anyways.

Doubling the juice wouldn't make it much of a bonus offer, given the rollover requirement.

I went back and forth with live chat yesterday in regards to the email slip up from Annie and they just apologized bla bla bla. Of course I have no recourse for them displaying my email address which is a work address and now I have received numerous solicitations and other people at my office have received them as well...
Thanks!!!

It was the error of a rep trying to do a good thing that went a tad wrong. He has been addressed already, unfortunately it is one of those things that can't be undone. I offer again my apologies, but please realize that he was just trying to get the message out to members on this promotion. He was not attempting to cause any issues for our members at all.
If the promo is accepted...there is an account setting that is changed to get you to 20 cent lines. Once rolls are met, you can be switched back.

RJ: I obviously understand that and will never argue with someone being ambitious. But the person AND your company needs to understand WHO you are dealing with and what information you are displaying to the public. Like I said, my email address is a work email address and I am now receiving emails from other books and they have somehow found out how to email other people in my company. That is very unprofessional, I do not think being naive or stupid is a valid excuse. You and your staff need to treat our information with respect and privacy, and not just send bulk emails carelessly...

The mail was sent to a player group he is responsible to communicate with. Why other people would be mailing you is outside of my comprehension. Why other people in your business would get mailed is even more outside of my comprehension. We do all we can to protect data, not distribute it which even includes DBase layering. I again can only apologize and hope that you understand we are one group trying to be as kind to members as possible. We work hard at service, and will continue down that path.

Outside of your comprehension? By disclosing the email addresses you basically published a FREE list for books to solicit. How is that so hard to figure out????

When a book is trying to do something right, and things go wrong, and the book is 'easy' about it there will be another stupid error. It's not the employee, but a company culture that doesn't pay enough attention to details. Didn't BP also run into a problem with a previous promotion, with another turnkey? Your problem is that you're not on the same page. How else could this promotion be sent from a sports-1 e-mail address?
What you're communicating is this: "We are not very professional. Our people may make mistakes, but at least they try."
Next time, why don't you send all e-mail addresses straight to the government? Idiots.

I am simply responding to the requests here at SBR for response. I am doing what was asked, and I will accept the bashing as part of the process. Outside of my comprehension corresponds to why someone who is a member would attempt to sell a BCC list to another place and in such short order. I don't see how we get from point A to point B there. Either way, my rep made the error, and I apologized for that a few times now, and will do so now one more time.
Darkhorse,
I am just here to offer a voice, rather than let it go unchecked. I apologized as stated above, so I don't understand the hostility. What do you suggest I do from here?

I didn't mean it as hostility. I had thought of BP as a, very welcome, low juice book that could make it to the short list of best books, with enough money and experience behind it. So I'm disappointed. We don't see Pinnacle or 5Dimes make mistakes like this, right? Top books are held to higher standards, so if you don't want to be held to those standards, just say so.
I don't know the details, but you seem to be more interested in turnkeys than in running a perfect operation. So instead of focus, I notice the mistakes that spring from being too scattered. Just my impression, and meant as constructive criticism.
FWIW, apology not accepted. The harm is already done. Besides, people who signed up with BetPhoenix may not necessarily want to be on sports-1 mailing list. That's where the real problem is. If people make a careful evaluation of BetPhoenix, for their level of professionalism, only to have some joker from sports-1 mess things up, where does it end?
