Canbet - The sportsbook you want to avoid
Hello, I have to share with you, what had happened with me.
I have registered in Canbet, 3 weeks later i was winning 150 euros, and i ask for a withdrawal.
For my surprise, they send me an email saying that my account was closed and my deposit was refunded.
I asked them the reason for closing my account, and they only say that my account was linked to others. Never tell me the concrete reason. I have no accounts linked. There are only one reason for that robber, on Canbet you can't win.
I'm posting this, to advise you all how this sportsbook works.
Keep far from this Sportsbook, and who have money in this sportsbook you should withdrawal as quickly as you can.
Thanks for reading, we have to fight together against the Sportsbook that make that kind of things.
If anyone knows a place where i can make a complaint against them, please post in this thread.

Are you sure its canbet and not sportbet??? For years sportbet has been known throughout the industry as a no pay book and i know first hand that this is one of the many excuses that they do infact use. .

multi account problems usually have a more complicated story than a poster is telling us. canbet is not a scam book, if they froze your account they will have some evidence against you. if you really have nothing to hide, fill in the complaint form on this website and if you're lucky sbr will help you.

Thanks for your help, i will make a complaint against them.
I don't have multi accounts.
And they don't tell me what i had made wrong to frozen my account.
I think that's unfair, treat their customers like that.
Oned more thing: Where do i make a complaint in this site?

Bookmakers that charge you inactivity fees without notifying you are indeed scam books. Canbet is one of them.

i agree it's bad practice, but there's a big difference between a book that pays but has a bad rule which could potentially cost you a few bucks a month and a scam book that walks away overnight with thousands, you know that as well.

Thank goodness Canbet no longer accepts U.S. clientele, I had to go through hell for about 2 weeks before I could get a small $500 payout from them about 5 years ago and I see not much has changed.

It's sad, what's happening with me.
I'm trying to know the reasons to they close my account, at more than a week.
And no one of the risk department was available to talk with me.
They stole my 150 euros of winnings, and don't tell me the reason, because there's no reason for that.
Is a robbery and i don't know, what can i do more

Canbet is not known for closing accounts without a real reason.
SBR probably will clear this, if this is a mistake from the risk department, or the op got involved in a multi-acc opening...

I was thinking that SBR will help me to have my winnings back, but passed two weeks and they don't give me any news, i don't know if they talk with Canbet 
It's normal to take so much time till have an answer from SBR?
Canbet can't make this kind of robberys and don't pay for that.

canbet arent that bad theres about 100 worse bookmakers around than them , worldbet owe me £6000 and will never pay it , 3bwin owe me also £150 they closed and ran off to the sunset in february , to be honest i dont overly trust any of em.

I received 3600 $ recently from Canbet. I don't think they are bad so far. But the problem with occasional IP-coinsidence could happen and I don't know what are their investigations include. So only SBR moderators can help to clearify the details I guess.

Now, i know that canbet close the accounts to all portuguese customers giving shared environments as reason, we live in the same country, is this shared environments? Canbet commited a big error, and stole the winnings of the portuguese customers, i'm waiting that justin can resolve this error and canbet give the money back to portuguese customers.

I think Canbet has some of the worst customer service among books that largely pay. They routinely don't respond to issues we bring to them despite multiple emails. They run bait and switch bonus scams for such small amouns, one wonders why they don't just stop running them or at least pay out the minimal amounts involved.

What the hell happened with this place, really? For years they were one of my favoured outs; Certainly not a top of the line workhorse like Pinnacle, Greek or BetJam, but definitely a solid number 4 or 5 starter...Now I wouldn't send them $100 if I found it on the street.
