Has anyone else noticed this? I don't know if it's exclusively Firefox, but without fail, after navigating to a few different games, the Matchbook site will get extremely sluggish, and will cause the rest of Firefox (any other webpages open in tabs/other windows) to really drag.

It must be a problem with their javascript code or something, but it's really terrible form and annoying as all hell...

I can't even get on now in IE..... goes to main page (sometimes) and freezes.

Yes, if I am using MB I have it on a separate computer so it doesn't hang up/crash everything else I've got open.

I don't have any problems in firefox, but my father has a problem on his computer getting all the frames to load... weird.

I have no problems using MB with Firefox.

The lag makes in-running wagering worse than awful. I wouldn't be surprised if it's intentional.

Wtf? Why would it be intentional? They are not a bookie, they don't care if you win or lose. They only care about commission. Why would they "intentionally" make a function of their site, a way for them to make more commission, awful?

SAFARI works much quicker w/no "hanging".

i've noticed the problem with firefox and matchbook also. i havent had the problem in the last week or so though. i believe firefox did an update recently? or maybe matchbook did.

i got to the point where i do most of my internet stuff with firefox, but i'll use google chrome to run sbrlines, matchbook, and any other books.

Also, tried this add-on & seems to be the fix.....I prefer to have Matchy open in my Firefox tabs for quicker back & forth switching of web pages. Working lightening fast now.

Running 3.0.10 & was still having the hanging on 6/6/09......installed that add-on from curinator & all is well now.

if you're still getting lag using IE, Mozilla, or Safari, maybe get a computer produced sometime in the past few years.......

NO reason at all to intentionally cause the site not to function in any way, they make $ off of "ACTIVITY".........maybe the Government is behind it......

I don't think there is a better Book out there for MLB than Matchbook.
