I too live in the great state of Texas, and recently requested my 1st payout check of $800 from BetDSI. I placed my request on a Monday and received my check the following Monday (5 business days)! Unfortunately, the check bounced and has cost me $140 in non-refundable overdraft fees, $12 for the bad check, and of course I dont have my $800 and am not certain at this time when I'll actually secure the money!!! This is very recent (Happened this week) so I am having to wait for the bank to send me the rejected check (5-10 business days) so I can present it to BetDSI as proof that the check did bounce. Once I obtain this information and relay it to them they can start the process of confronting the company who processed the check for them. I hope this is a one time thing cause I really like BetDSI and their customer service. They seem eager to help in this matter, and I seriously hope that they compensate accordingly for the havoc this has caused me(bank fees)....horrible timing with Christmas around the corner.....They also charged my BetDSI account $65 of which needs to be credited back. Im sure the $65 is just the processing fee that is charged to BetDSI by the people they use to process their clients payout checks....but in this case, they certainly didnt "earn the money". Totally dropped the ball in fact.
Again, BetDSI is waiting to assist me in this matter, but I'm having a difficult time obtaining the required documents from my bank in a timely manner so Im still in limbo. I will keep you posted on the progression of the matter. I hope it turns out right and BetDSI makes up for this severe inconvience!

Thanks! As soon as I receive the rejected check from my bank, I will forward it immediately. I have been completely pleased with the BetDSI customer service, and have complete confidence that BetDSI will fix this mistake. Im sure this situation is not common place because I've seen nothing but great reviews and high ratings in regards to how BetDSI runs their sportsbook operations.

With that said, this has caused a great inconvience nonetheless! The Christmas season is upon us, and this is the last thing I needed to happen in regards to my bank account. However, I am confident that you at BetDSI will correct this error with urgency.

Because sportsbooks use 3rd party processors and those processors occasionally have problems.

Almost every sportsbook has processor issues with one payout method or another from time to time. Unfortunately, it's just part of the current environment for US residents.

Agreed! I've heard too many good things about BetDSI to believe that this situation is habitual. Dont get me wrong, Im not happy, but I also subscribe to the fact that sh*t happens from time to time. The 3rd party processor dropped the ball, and I feel comfortable that BetDSI will provide me solutions to the problem and make it right.....but I'll let ya know how it all turns out. The sad thing is, Im having more trouble getting a fire lit under my banks ace then I am anything else! Getting a copy of the bounced check in a timely fashion has been like pulling teeth. I know they take photo copies of every check, but they are dead set on sending it thru the U.S. postal service in 5-10 business day as opposed to simply emailing it to me.

UPDATE: I have received my $800 payout from BetDSI!!! Once I presented them with the copy of the bounced 3rd party processor's check, they got right on the case! Within three days they fixed the mistake completely, and MoneyGrammed the funds to me free of charge. BetDSI refunded all bank fees, returned the orginal $65 processing me, and overall, did a wonderful job correcting this issue in a timely manner! BetDSI's customer service is top in class! The situation appears to have been a simple mistake, and a quick solution to the problem was provided. Thank you BetDSI!!!

    Cracker Jake,

I to had a similar problem with check from DSI and they were very helpful and refunded me the money and sent out the payment ** without a fee. I also received another check from them recently that cleared without any problems. I have been very happy with them so far.

I also would like to know the answer to this because whenever I have dropped a check it has never bounced it has just sort of floated towards the ground slowly, sometimes quickly also if memory serves me correctly.

I requested a payout 10 days ago from dsi and still nothing, I know they told me 7-15 days but it's still pretty scary that it takes that long from an A book. I even asked them if it was going to be coming by regular mail or courier service, and that information wasn't available but they told me it was processed. No tracking # or any info. I've done business with them a long time and this is like the first time I'm actually scared of getting my money or not.

Just wanted to add some input to this thread since it's already been created.

I have had experiences in cashing out with various methods with the Bookmaker/DSI family. Although the cashout periods are typically longer than say 5Dimes or BetIslands (which offer same day payouts - often times within hours) I have always had good experiences.

With bookmaker, I requested a check which arrived in 7-8 days after I requested my payout. Of course my funds were left in my account, tempting me to make wagers for 3-4 days until the payout was processed. The check was good no issues.

Unfortunately with the DSI and Bookmaker family, the P2P payouts fees are extremely steep, and in my opinion completely unjustified. With DSI, I requested a large P2P payout on FRIDAY the payout department mysteriously didn't know how to spell my name, so it wasn't until Monday when I called back that they ended up clearing my payout. On top of that, I had a hold placed on my cashout until I spoke with a "customer service representative" about my experience with DSI. In the end, payout requested Friday, payout processed Monday, cash received Tuesday (today). Not a bad turnaround, however.....

To cash out around $1000 P2P, I was charged almost 10% - that is my only complaint with DSI/BM. If you don't mind the paper trail and waiting for your checks, you will get paid. If you want to get paid quickly with cash, be prepared to bend over and take one.

For comparison purposes, 5Dimes pays out once a month FREE P2P on Monday mornings - same day payout. BetIslands pays out once a month P2P FREE, and pays out sometimes within 45 minutes. DSI/BM are the industry "big dogs" - I just wish it didn't cost me wagering $22,000 to get a free p2p payout with frequent player points

PS - I live in Texas

That's true I don't play big so I dont encounter issues like that but I can understand. The 1 free payout is ok for me since I think I've withdrawn from them maybe just twice in all of 2011. For larger bettors I can see how that can be a problem
