The infraction below is a horrible misuse of authority. Despite all efforts to explain the matter to him, he refuses to reconsider at all--"take it to Lou" he says. Unfortunately, PMs to SBR Lou for a second Mod's opinion have gone unaswered thus far.

My infraction letter from last night appears below and I've underlined the post that J7 flagged. My statement corrects Cory's post that Legions and I condone Sandusky's action. I go on to say that Scammers and Pedophiles are alike in that they both twist things to their advantage (making bad behavior somehow appear innocent). Justin's take on all this is that I am inferring Cory is a pedophile, when the inference is clearly meant toward Sandusky. Anyone with an ounce of common sense can see what was meant if they read the two quotes together, instead of just taking my quote out of context. Since J7 refuses to admit he possibly made a mistake, I'm asking Lou or any other unbiased Mod to review this matter and correct it.

I've heard so many name being called at posters in so many threads, all but this thread where its prohibited for some reason not like the others. Oh well at least i know that J7 shows which way to pull on decisions in certain areas, all this does is make me wonder how he ruled on the Cory case.

What pisses me off is that Cory can directly infer that you and I are fond of a well-known molester and that's fine. But if I make a reference to pedophiles in general, J7's all over my ass like Sundusky in a shower stall. I can see how he might misread it at first glance, but to be unwilling to correct his own mistake displays obvious bias. As such, he should bow out of moderating all EZ threads if he can't keep an open mind.

I'm with you HedgeHog. I see insults bandied about in just about every thread I read where two or more posters have a difference of opinion. The pedophile reference was obviously referring to Sandusky. The scammer referred to Cory, so that is the insult -- which I have seen plenty of posters use to refer to Cory. It does appear that these infractions are not handed out impartially. I am willing to bet that this sort of insult, or even worse, can be found on almost any thread that is over one page long! If an infraction is going to be handed out for one insult, every insult should get one --- instead of the mods picking on posters they don't like.

That is the correct reading of the context. However, J7 charges me with the pedophile remark which is easily defended as it was NOT directed at Cory in any way. I agree that I could also defend the indirect inference to scammer, but that's not what he flagged me for last night.

There's an obvious pattern of J7's bias (see below). Over the past year I have received 5 infractions--all given by Justin7 in EZ threads. WTF, don't other Mods read EZ threads? How is it that he's the only one spotting infractions in these particular threads. Further, you'll see that one of his demerits got overturned--also due to his misinterpretation of another quote I made. Talk about an obvious agenda!

So basically Justin shit the bed and wants another Mod to clean it up for him.....again. In an earlier PM, he insists that the "P" word I used was directed at Cory and not Sandusky. Guess we can add "fukkin mind reader" to his list of titles along with author and mod. Perhaps Lou, Bill, John or whomever can respond as I still want a second opinion.

If it were just the one infraction, I'd let the matter go as a rare misunderstanding. But it's not. As shown earlier, every infraction I get is from him. Not one other Mod took offense to my many posts this past year, just J7 in EZ threads. Tell me again it's not personal. He should not be monitoring EZ threads, and this bogus demerit should be repealed.
