Default Pinnacle not paying out my money

I lost a fortune betting at Pinnacle. Wagered almost 9 000 000 in four months. Now I want to cash out most of whats left on my betting account, only 200 000.

It's been over 5 days since I made the request. When I ask the customer service department I get the same answer all the time: "your email has been forwarded to the appropriate person."

Are they always this slow? I heard only good things about Pinnacle, but I myself only experienced bad things about Pinnacle.

It's really easy to deposit and bet, but cashing out is harder. I guess they want to keep all customers, no matter what.

My advice to you guys: -Don't play at Pinnacle!

No, I usally bet alot more. I have betting accounts at atleast 30 betting sites. But usually I don't use more than 7 on a regular basis.

Made what? It?

It is over rated. There are thousands of better things to do, than doing it!

No. SEK. I made that on purpose. My little bad joke. SEK = Swedish kronor.
9 million SEK is today about $1 093 560.

I am telling the truth. However I am leaving out some details.

I created the betting account while I lived in Finland. This was in december 2008. In the beginning I made some small deposits, about 18 470 SEK. ($2244)

In march I got divorced and moved back to sweet Sweden. When I moved I forgot to tell Neteller about this, so when I tried to log in to Neteller my account was suspended.

Later I wanted to cash out 200 000 SEK from Pinnacle. But I could not, since the rules says I must cashout to Neteller the same amount I deposited with Neteller.

But my Neteller account was closed.

I explained this to Pinnacle.
They did not accept it.

When I tried to explain, the only answer I got was: "-your email has been forwarded to the appropriate person." .... I sent an email to CSD every day, same answer. Appropriate person is not working now, will be in office tomorrow... etc. FOR ONE WEEK!

This may sound like a small problem. But since I know that Pinnacle is famous for its high standards, one week of ignorance is not good customer service in my oppinion.

Easy to deposit - hard to cash out.

If this is a security issue, I'd rather they take the time to do it right, than risk paying out the wrong person.

It's a big deal. Would you not rather they took the time to verify your actual identity or just ship the money off to someone that has stolen your information.

Well, ofcourse not. But I sent everything they asked for. I used the same email adress, they can call me on both my swedish and finnish number. I sent copies of my drivers license, passport, electric bill, bank papers ... well, it's really not a problem it's taking a week. I am more upsut how they answer me and keep coming with more and more questions.

How ever ... just now I recived an email from CSD saying they will accept my wire withdrawal request. I guess the case is solved then.

Last question, does it really take over a week for Pinnacle to finish cash outs? (The money is not in my account yet, I expect a few more days for that.) What is standard in the industry? 3-4 days? And Pinnacle should be the best there is, right?

If you've got issues like this, everybody will take extra time. Doubly so over a large amount, they'll want to double check everything, investigate a little.

Next time don´t leave out pretty much all important details, while going straight to "my advice: don´t play at the best book in the world!". Not easy to take you or your story for real now...

When you say you heard only good things about Pinnacle then there's probably a reason for that and there's certainly a reason why you personally found it easier to deposit than withdraw.

This thread makes Pinnacle look good not bad. For starters, a week of being emailed every day asking the same thing and no rude reply quoted! I'm sure other books would just not have replied once they had initially responded.

If I had moved countries, lost the account which had funded my Pinny account and was making a relatively large withdrawal, I would send one email with the relevant ID and expect to get my payment within a couple of weeks at best whilst everything is checked chasing up after a week. If it was done in a matter of days I would be concerned that the sportsbook wasn't taking security seriously.

I understand it's frustrating when you keep receiving the same reply but the answer here was surely to not keep emailing the same question.

I'm curious what other bookmakers you use? most of the other bookmakers will limit you when winning at most a few thousands.

Interwetten, Bet-at-home, Expekt, Gamebookers and Bwin.

Pinnacle is the best, no doubt about it. Bwin is second and Interwetten probably third on my list. Expekt has been good for me, very good support in Swedish. Other sites I like: BoyleSports, PaddyPower, StanJames, Bet365, BetDirect, Ladbrokes and Unibet. Never any problems with those.

----

I was frustrating because Pinnacle always answered me that an appropriate person will look in to my case tomorrow. Tomorrow was moved up day by day for one week. Thats frustrating. If they would have said something like this from day one: -"Hey, you moved from one country to another and you want to cash out a large amount of money. This will take us 2-3 weeks to invastegate. Is that okay with you?" (I used SEK, instead of €, as betting currency for a reason. This was very hard for Pinnacle to understand.)

Fine, thats okay with me. Call me anytime, both my numbers works. Ask anyquestions, request any documents, no problem. But the frustrating thing is to promise something and then just change the rules day by day. Since I bet alot and lost alot of money, for me it sounds like they just wanted to keep me as a losing customer?

But the strange/cool thing is that just 1-2 hours after I posted this thread problem was solved. I have the same bank in Sweden as Pinnacle, Nordea Bank (www.nordea.se), so if Pinnacle decide to release my 200 000 SEK the transfer will be instant. Still no money, it's been exactly 1 week since my withdrawal request.

Sorry for poor english, I am swenglish...erhm swedish! Good luck with betting!

Best regards
/C

Update:

It's been 15 days now since I requested a withdrawal to my bank account. Still no money. It should be instant when Pinnacle decide to pay out, because we have the same bank.

Did they steal my 240k after all? (240k, not 200k as I said earlier)

Could be a solution. But I don't think it will work... who wil trust who? Who would send money first?

Hopefully PS will send my money some day ... I just have to gamble on that.

En Djurgårdare! Gnaget ska det vara. Sollentuna här.

----> Enough swedish. (I was just teasing him because of his nickname. His nick reveales that his favourite team is DIF (Djurgården IF) ----> Switching to Swenglish....

Update: Just checked my bankaccount. Money on it's way. They will be available tomorrow, friday. 240000 SEK/$30000.

Despite this trouble with my cashout I am staying as a Pinnacle customer.

Entertaining thread. Also love the 'Swenglish' comments... that was pretty funny. Been my experience that a lot of Nordics speak and read and write and shit better English than Americans.... funny as hell.

Best of luck.

Pinnacle must have a lot of players and sometimes shit happens. It's just frustrating when it happens to you. What can you do. This shows we are not alone. Do Pinnacle really cares of shit happens sometimes?

If you had the money to afford wagering 1 million + dollars, maybe you could afford a plane a ticket to the country where they have their headquarters and complaint in person , sleep in their front door if its necessary. I would do that if I was you

won't change a thing, they'll probably just tell you go to the closest internet cafe and email them. that is how pinnacle operates.
