A good friend of mine has been caught up in this sorry affair.
I have worked in all corners of the globe in the sportsbook industry for the last 22 years either in senior management or odds compiling.
I dont understand why so many people seem to accept that once a punter accepts a new price for any wager the sportsbook has resolved that particular issue.
SBG gave their clients no choice in this matter. The original wagers placed at 70-1 had already been cancelled. The players were given the choice of a new wager at 10-1 or no bet at all. We all know this is outrageous behaviour.
This doesn't realease SBG from their moral responsibilty to do the right thing and settle all Button wagers placed at 70-1 at the original 70-1.
