First time I asked for a payout was 2 month ago. They told me they no longer accept payout requests online. hmm. OK

Then I asked for a payout via wire via their livechat. They told me this is ok and took 7 days. Nothing happens after 14 days.

Then they told me they can´t pay via wire but they can pay me via moneybookers.

I say ok. I´m waiting and waiting...

Last week they told me: at the current moment we have a huge amount of pay outs request and there is a delay on the pay outs because of this reason.

I´m so glad I never used a bonus.

What kind of book is this?

That is indeed the big question right there.

I believe it when they say they have a lot of payouts to process. I would be stunned beyond belief if they didn't with the promos they offered.

I just kinda thought a family like Bet Phoenix would know what they are doing and be prepared. You give people 400% freeplays, there are going to be winners and then payouts. But it seems like it took them totally by surprise.


BetOT/Phoenix have had a few forum reps at times here. I have been waiting for some funds for awhile and I would like to hear an update.

I don't want to get in another cat's way, but you need to relax and keep on playing and clear that rollover. Until Phoenix says they are not backing OT any longer you need have no fear. People were paid at OT last week and this week. Again, I have no clue what gets you moved up in line to be paid.

clear the rollover as soon as possible and then get in line quick.

I play at Phoenix every day.

Hey OTP, haven't seen you on the forum in quite awhile.

I am not nearly as involved in this forum and some of the nitty-gritty industry stuff as you probably remember. I may not be the best person to ask. There have been big long threads that I haven't followed. You could search them up yourself and look for clues.

Here's what I can tell you: I have received one payout from BetOT and have been waiting for another for a month.

Having said that, they have been difficult to communicate with, not answering message and so on. Not good.

As to your specific inquiry, I personally am not placing any bets there right now. Even if they had the best line on something I wanted, I would probably just go with option B. However that is easy for me to say: I have no outstanding rollovers.

If I had rollovers at a book I was uncertain about, I would freeze my action there and wait-and-see. I recall this happening at Action Bets a few years back. Fortunately that had a happy ending and my temporary freeze on placing wagers had no negative consequence. Things got better, I placed bets, completed roll, withdrew funds - now it's a distant memory.

Philosophically I feel that is the correct approach. If it ends up just being a SLOW-PAY, then the freeze in action won't matter. If it actually goes NO-PAY, then you won't end up getting nothing for winning bets you could have been placing somewhere else. (On the other hand, if you keep betting and it ends up being a NO-PAY, you'll be glad you placed losing bets there instead of somewhere else.) But on balance I favor the don't-bet-at-all approach.

The only question is, how uncertain should anyone be about the current BetOT. I have some faith in katstale. I think he has been following this closer than me. He is not a typical forum knee-jerk guy.

Of course another factor is your urgency for the funds. Some situations allow for more patience than others.

I would be interested in other perspectives, maybe even someone from SBR. I'm not sure how involved they are yet.

if you can transfer to phoenix and complete rollover that might be the best option as at least phoenix seems to pay (eventually)

I've been trying to get a payout here for nearly 2 months.

They mostly ignore my emails, and when they do reply it's some nonsense about not completing the wagering requirements, which is not true.

The only consolation is that they have paid out once, but two months ago now. I get the feeling shouting too much will only hurt my throat, and be drowned out by the others who are waiting for a payout.

But 2 months though!! I've never experienced this kind of delay before, if this is what all C/B rated books at SBR do then I'm staying away from them.

I have spoken to both by phone and e-mail. I did get one payout in January. Just waiting for my balance. I guess I am mellowing as I get older. I haven't really hounded them. Being patient.

BetOT have changed their bonus/rollover rules over the last little while and have repeatedly given out incorrect information to many people, always overstating rollovers. I don't know if they are genuinely disorganized or purposely stalling or just hoping people will throw up their hands and not argue, and give them more rollovers. But there have been many, many reports of it.

It happened to me where they tried to tell me I needed more rollovers based on a rule that didn't exist when I did my deposit. In fact they did that, then I got it straightened out and received a payout. Then when I asked for my next payout, they tried to tell me again I hadn't completed rollovers.

It is a bit of a trademark for them, I would say.

I simply armed myself with the facts and spoke to them and got it straightened out.

Just wanted to let you guys know that Richard came through for me, I received full payment today after about a 3 week wait, if you have a betOT balance just contact him directly for withdrawal and it seems to go much smoother than going through betOT cs.

I doubt Phoenix would be paying out at all for OT if they did not have a legal obligation; nor would they be so cagey as to the definition of 'turnkey' in relation to this fiasco.
Maybe a group of you can look into hiring someone in the relevant country to investigate the cost and potential success of legal action, and split the cost between you?
Sorry to say, from what I hear from players, SBR has not been able to move things forward.
All the while there is still money in the parent company, it might be worth a try.

I wondered, in the other thread, what the OT in BetOT stood for. Now we know it had to do with paying. I agree that as long as Richard from BetPhoenix is on this, players will be paid. BetOT couldn't have started out worse. A stillborn baby. Why not switch all accounts to BetPhoenix, and forget the BetOT fiasco? At least that should slow down the payout requests.

People are getting paid and have been for quite awhile. It's not fast and completely hassle-free but it's happening.

I guess you could involve SBR but it seems unnecessary to me. People are handling it on their own.

Maybe it is Phoenix doing the paying - I don't really know - but payouts are being arranged by phoning/Live Chatting/e-mailing with betOT numbers and contacts, using info from the betOT website.
