tomcast recently got his payout from Las Palmas. I think it took about two months. It was handled poorly enough that he felt he had to file a formal complaint.
It is startling how Las Palmas has gone downhill. I hope they can recover.

I just spoke with a LasPalmas representative that confirms that the payouts which were scheduled to be initiated this week may be delayed into next week.
SBR has scheduled an appointment tomorrow morning to have a conversation with LasPalmas management to discuss this further, we will give another update thereafter.
LasPalmas management has informed SBR that their funds were "unfrozen", and that all pending payouts are being caught up this week.
Account holders are encouraged to write SBR at assistance@sportsbookreview.com or file a complaint form if their payouts are not processed by the end of the week.
Today we confirmed payment of close to $30,000 from Las Palmas group. These funds were owed for a few months. They tell us they are sending more this week and early next.

It sends a bad message to players when they are only owed a few thousand and the book needs to rely on one resource to get it. Players hear the blame on frozen funds and think Lazerwager. I do think LasPalmas will be ok. When the bill attacking money transfers passed it caused a lot of the small to medium shops to pull out of postup or join on to bigger operations. Those who aren't big are hurt a lot more when a processor goes down and can't diversify processors because they don't have the volume.
They have to get about 6 figures more out to owed players and come up with a strategy going forward. Better communication to players and making sure they can always do transfers to Bookmaker is a good place to start. We will follow the rest of the complaints and let the board know.
Peep,
They certainly have been around a long time, as long as SBR has been rating books. Horizon 20s have bounced between the Cs and Bs over the years, never quite breaking through. Never cheated a player and have a reputation for doing good business.

I've played at Laspalmas on & off since they were Wit Sports
& never had any problems.I currently have a small balance
there & I hope that these guys make it.
I know that they are part of E-Horse,which ,in this day
day & age, probably means nothing. In previous years, when
horseplayers were more prominant(they are falling faster than
the stock market),it was good to know that they had another
source for their deposits.
Allthings being egual,I think LP will be ok.

They are backed up by about a month. I think they are doing their best right now to weather the storm, the list we have of players owed continues to shrink, but they are not caught up completely yet.
C- seems about right, a second downgrade on the heels of the strides they have made wouldn't be fitting IMO. They have never outright stiffed or cheated anybody, so I am optimistic that everyone will be taken care of.

SBR learns of two players waiting for over $50,000 from the LasPalmas group. The players have been given the runaround. Management has conceded that the size of the player withdrawals have played a role in their place in the queue.
