    Default BetFred

I just joined BetFred.com and would like to read some players reviews on there experiences.....couldn't find a betfred thread in the search so here I am asking.........also in due time i will give my own review.

I mainly joined after a live chat with them they told me there is no limit to the selections of a multibet, that is huge plus for me.

Can't comment on their multi betting as I only very rarely play them and then only no more than a 2 game multi.

But Fred, like all the UK bookies (and unfortunately now the major Aussie books, including Sportsbet) will very severely limit those they see as knowing what they are on about, betting only when they are offering the best odds on the market.

Anyway, just played some black jack, $1 bet just to test it, the dealer didn't ask me to hit or fold as though the thing was frozen, but nothing on my computer was frozen.....bad start.

Years since I played there after they reduced my limits to waste-of-time levels but I used Moneybookers to fund and withdraw from them.

Can you withdraw to debit cards?

It is one of the biggest UK books, your money is very safe here. Withdrawals are fast (I myself use neteller but heard that moneybookers withdrawals are made in same day as neteller`s).

I initially tried to deposit with paypal, that wasn't aloud. I'm not a user of moneybookers or neteller!

Have enjoyed the live betting so far in the Tsonga match.

Has anyone outside the UK ever not been paid by betfred?

Never heard any problems about them except fast limiting. For me they cut limits but still they are usable.

If you're going to play at overseas books you would be best advised to use Moneybookers. Far more efficient than any other means of funding and withdrawing.

They will pay you ok, but will have you limited faster than bet$3.65.
    Good luck.

betfred are currently in dispute with a well known punter and horse trainer from Ireland, he bet a series of horses, of which 3 won, netting a very large return.
The wagers had been placed online, as well as the uk high street.

the punter has been paid for the high street bets,(the UK is very well regulated), but the online betfred (same company) is registered in Gibralter, and refuse to pay, citing their terms and conditions.

As the selections and bets in both instances are the same, one came only to the conclusion that old baldy fred is trying to welsh on the bets

Seems like a very interesting character that guy - had seen an article on the one posted there a while back, but had no idea that he had pulled off an arguabley better coup back in the 1970's till I read this a few minutes ago:

Back to the question at hand though - I have been using BetFred on and off for a couple years now and not had a problem whatsoever with them.

Am up a bit on them, but so far havent been limited, or at least havent been limited enough to affect my betting at all yet as I am a fairy low stakes bettor and rarely bet more than £100 on a bet. Payouts have been quick to be processed and sent back to my card as well.

All in all cant complain personally
