Just made a cc deposit to BetOnline. There is now a 6% processing fee that gets deducted from the deposit amount. I have made deposits there in the past, with no such fee. This will be the last deposit they receive from me.
I knew Bodog was doing, it will not amaze me if the trend continues on all the books. Probably they are just passing the cost of their processors down, or pushing to use Person to person methods instead of CCs, less trouble for them.
wow 6 percent??? I will never play there then. Do they even tell you about it before hand? That seems like fraud if they don't warn you when you're depositing.
They tell you what the deduction will be as you're depositing.
At Bovada they have a note +4.9% processing fee. so you enter $100 and it shows you win be billed $104.90
At BetOnline they have a -6% processing fee. So you enter $100 and it shows you $94.00 will be added to account.
BetOnline has added this to their rules page stating the flat 6% so I assume it applies to everyone for all CC deposits.
