    Default DSI Confiscates BetPoints

DSI is now confiscating and not crediting any earned betpoint balances. Please be careful playing there. My points were stolen.

bookmaker has been cutting non-recreational players off from betpoints for a very long time, I'm guessing DSI does the same.

"non recreational players". that sounds so dumb. does a grocery store not honor coupons if you are a "professional shopper"? And also an insult to people that they honor the betpoints by inferring they are "recreational" which basically means they suck. **** Bookmaker and sportsbooks like them.

Almost every sportsbook treats recreational and non-recreational bettors differently in one fashion or another. You don't have to like it, but it's the reality of the industry, so you either deal with it or don't bet on sports. This is even true of most Vegas sportsbooks.

    Terrible analogy btw.

Not sure I'd write off their behavior as quickly as others here are willing, but not much can do about it other than state my opinion here. BetPoints are super small, 7th tenths of a cent rebate per "base dollar" at top rate (something like that anyways) so this isn't some square bonus offer. The equivalent value is know, we're talking a fractional rebate. If you're going to take the guys points pay out on their value and then stop allowing them to accumulate more. Anything less is penalizing someone for saving up for the top rate as he could have cashed these out without recourse prior to being shut off from the program. We're talking pocket change (truly are in comparison to volume) and if you want shut someone off do it much earlier not after he's accumulated a ton of points and thinks these are as good as cash.

When Bookmaker cut me off, they still let me redeem them. I'd be surprised if BetDSI won't let you redeem the earned ones. Call them and try.

I have been playing on there since Thanksgiving and been earning points...although I only have around 9k which is equivalent to like a $40 amazon gift card so not sure why they would be too worried to take that away..lol

your face is a terrible analogy. and just because an industry does something a certain way doesnt mean you have to like or even condone it. you are just a worn down yes man like most of the other stiffs in this country. stand up for yourself. status quo is not the only way to go.

I know the industry pretty well having taken some action in college. and when bookmakers get cute and start labeling players and try to play with the incoming action they usually cost themselves money. the idea is to get equal action and dont be afraid of a little lopsided action on big games because most people will be wrong and you need the "sharps" to balance the action from the masses. PS - Bookmake/CRISr is starting to screw more and more people over. I don't trust them.

A belated Merry Christmas to everyone. I have followed Justin7's advice and e-mailed DSI. Currently they have asked for my account number (which was included in the title of the e-mail). I will be providing updates.

After some delay they agreed and paid me, BUT if I had not insisted, they were perfectly ok with the concept of just taking the money. I am glad they did the right thing. Now if they could just bring in the new year with some fee reductions for withdrawals.
