Default Bets canceled at pinnacle

Hi guys...I signed up just to get some answers about this issue...a big issue for me.
I play at pinnacle for over a year...a lot. I don't know what happened but in the past week I've had more canceled bets then in the entire year. Bad lines they say. But they are not obviously bad lines.
I mean.... I see a perfectly good line now, I place a bet....5 minutes later...surprise!!!!! its a bad line actually.
Afterwords the line continues to move...up and down...and its not impossible at all that the bad line will become good again.
Has anyone else experienced this?....any advice?
I don't want to email customer support about this because I've read some older posts about canceled bets at pinnacle and I am afraid that I might end up with my account banned.

Cheers

Can you give some examples of the bets that got cancelled?

Bets and times that the bets were made, actually. It's going to be relevant.

Can't say I have noticed this recently. Extremely rare for them to have bad line cancelled. they even been paying off on "flu" NBA games--(thank you very much you paid for my cruise Pinny!!)

By the way, Phoenix rode some of those flu games all the way to tipoff and didn't complain at all and paid.

Keep betting the flu.....

Orlando Magic (-7) for Game @ 2.19

Minnesota Timberwolves vs New Orleans Hornets 1st Quarter on February 8th
Minnesota Timberwolves @2.5

Toronto Raptors vs Memphis Grizzlies for 1st Quarter on February 7th
Memphis Grizzlies @2.15

I've bet with Pinnacle for around 4 years, and last week I had my very first bet cancelled! (At Soccer Premier League, and it was a bad line) So it is either a coincidence, or it is smelling like a new person at a key position perhaps?

Was it the first time you bet a bad line? They don't care for that.

At Pinnacle yes - it was the first time I have ever seen a bad line at Pinnacle! So I had to try because I was curious what would happen...

Well they used to let you keep the bet and then close your account, so I wouldn't suggest playing them in the future.

Pinnacle closed the account for betting a bad line? Wow, I thought Pinnacle never closed accounts!
Ok, thanks for that, I won't do it in the future then...

they give you the option, keep the bet and lose your account or cancel it. imo there's no reason to play it anyway even if it might go undetected. maybe somewhere else, no reason to piss off pinnacle

Cool! In my case they sent me an email saying the bet was cancelled due to a bad line.

Yes, but the bets mean nothing without the context of the time they were placed, so we can determine what the market prices were at that time.

Pinnacle has a deleted bets section of the account history, no?

they dont care who you bet with or against.. all they are doing is getting all the bets equal so, if there is 2 million dollars played below a certain line they want another 2 millions over that same line. AT the end they make 200k's in winnings that day... is simple biz trick. Is bad for the players but good for them...

Aha, I wasn't aware they were live bets... that will make this very hard to resolve.

I dont think that's what he's saying (although he's not being very clear). I think what he's saying is that Pinnacle's account history has a place for deleted live bets but that his deleted bets were just normal bets and aren't accounted for in that spot.

Ok, but still without the times of the bets there's going to be no way to see what the market line was, so not sure what SBR could do in this case.

I can confirm what he is saying: When Pinnacle deletes a bet it is totally deleted and cannot be found anywhere, not in the bet history or anywhere else. Would be more fair to mark it as cancelled instead I think...

I can't say it's happened to me so I had never checked, just glanced the deleted link in the history.

Still, I guess the best you can do is get someone at SBR to enquire why they were deleted, and see if Pinnacle have internal records of them.

Strange, I've made thousands of bets at pinnacle over the last couple of years, never had a single one cancelled. I do deliberately avoid bad lines though.

Here we will list bookies that have tried to tell PL members that their account has either been closed and funds confiscated, or something similar.

We will also update the cases to say if they have been settled.

BetandWin Case 1 - Click here.

Same old story, someone wins big and they don't like it. Stalled on paying out a customer for 4 weeks. Ignored emails constantly. They say payment is on the way, then 2 weeks later, no payment received. They answer an email saying "Oh, we don't have all your ID." Then why did you say payment is on the way?

PL has to step in and make them pay up, but why does it have to get that stage.

They did pay up 3 days after PL got involved - 7/10/06.

BetandWin Case 2 - Click here.

While coming up with a few excuses here and there, it was basically another case of Bwin trying to defraud a punter of their money. Seemingly Bwin dept to dept communication skills are non existent as they sent PL an email saying it will be credited back to the players account, yet emailed the person in question saying it would not.

A final warning by email and they paid up on 14/12/06.

These are not isolated cases, see here

Itīs true Pinnacle cancel bets.

They cancelled a 1600 Euro winning bet claiming that the game has already started. Thatīs wrong. It hasnīt started. Well thatīs the buiseness of all sportbooks.

Nevertheless pinnacle is one of the books I like the most. I guess the ratings for all sportbooks should be start with a C+ rating

Compadre

Im just trying figuare this out(No offense).

it was Orlando -7 spread 2.19. right. But at that time what was the opposite line? I always check the juice here. for example 1.02% or 1.03%. Then its no bad line. Perhaps it was really wrong line here. perhaps it was 2.09 instead of 2.19( if the opposite was for example 1.86 then its a bad line.

my example 1.86 vs 2.19= bad line but if it was 1.78 vs 2.19 its not a bad line.

Thats why you need screenshots to proof it. I always count juice when I suspect it could be a bad line.

perhaps you checked this? Then its very scary, but sometimes you can think something and forgot to check the opposite line? (I do it myself many tiimes) realize it afterwards because as bettor its always in a hurry(if you find something good)

hope I cleared this up. Are you really 100% sure of the opposite line here? think twice and then reply here again.

Thanks.
