I will respectfully disagree, and understand that Heritage is a favorite Book of mine. I typically have all my football outs set up before Sept 1st, and as luck would have it, I haven't had to deposit at Heritage in some time. Bad rule, but as you say it's their free contest. That said, if I need to re-up next FB season at Heritage, it'll be after Sept 1st. Dumb restriction IMO.

Cool contest, very nice of them to put up 20K in FP's. But from the player's perspective, when you have 1000's of entries I'm not going to hold my breath. This past week I went 14-2 in the NFL contest and didnt even get a sniff.

Yes, I bet a lot of steam but the delay should solve that issue. Still don't understand why I got small limits on CBB from betting steam on football. I definitely over reacted on this issue. Sorry I called you names.

Heritage is running a rather generous pick 'em contest and giving away $20,000 in free plays. However, I found this under the rules of the contest:

Must have made at least one deposit after September 1st, 2011 to claim a prize.


So essentially if you are a winning bettor you are ineligible to participate. This seems pretty unfair.

This is how it reads in the rules section I get when I click "Click here for contest rules" on the contest page:

Active accounts are only eligible for the prize as a free play. To be active you must have made a bet since the first of September 2011.

Nothing here about any deposit requirement.

Misleading contest. Heritage is not giving away $20,000.

1)They're giving away freeplays.
2)Grand prize only won if someone hits all 35, which I will say is not going to happen.

So here's what they're giving out:

If nobody picks all the bowl winners, the customer with the best record will win $2,500 in Free Plays. The second best record will win $1,000, third best record will win $500 and fourth & fifth places pick up $250 each.

So $4,500 in freeplays.

However, I e-mailed them inquiring about a deposit requirement and they said I am eligible even though I have not deposited (migrated from BetJam).
