Hello everyone.
I make note of this here to all interested.
It as been made an official complaint about it.

This is a complaint about a refunded wager on DimelineSportsbook that i will expose here.
My user in DimelineSportsbook is "***********".

On 2009-02-03 i made this wager of $1100:

1) Event: San Antonio Spurs at Denver Nuggets
Play Time: 2009-02-03 21:05
Selection: Denver to win
Odds: Point Spread (-6.0) -110
Final Score: Denver 104 San Antonio 96

This wager was placed 3 hours before the game start. It was accepted by the sportsbook and confirmed by them as
i show in the print screen's that i send to you.
Later that day i went to see that result and i see the Denver Nuggets won the game by 8 points.
After, i go to my account and see that my wager was Refunded (as showed by the print) the bet amount.
Went to live chat to see what happend and they told me the most unbelieveble excuse.
The bet was refunded because of an injurie that moved the line 7 points. I think this is incredible. as you can see in the chat
transcription that i have they told me this:
"

Elsa: Wager ID 80947(67979)
Samantha: The bet was canceled because the line moved 7 points.
Elsa: but u accepted the wager
Samantha: Yes because there was no injuries at that time.
Elsa: i went offline after making that wager
Samantha: ok
Samantha: Every effort will be made to ensure that all information available on the Internet site is accurate.
However, if an error is made in the prices or conditions published online, we reserve the right to
correct any mistakes and to settle any bets already laid at the correct price.
Elsa: u could send an email for me saying that the line as changed
Elsa: nothing
Elsa: settle any bets already laid at the correct price.
Samantha: We will note that for the future
Elsa: ~what was the price
Samantha: The bet was canceled on boths sides. All bets were canceled."
After this miss samantha try to close the chat and i consider this behavior unaceptable. You can see all this in the chat.
As she says on that rule my bet could only be changed in the price:
"we reserve the right to correct any mistakes and to settle any bets already laid at the correct price."
They could never Refun or cancel a bet like this. This was not a wrong line.
They refuse terminently to set the wager as a WIN so the complaint i present.
Well later as you also can see in the print of the chat miss samantha did closed my chat window when i had made a question.
This is unaceptable behavior from a sportsbook.

You got screwed, and I personally worry about any book who's cc charges show a US based business like a toy store or computer business based in Minn. I truly worry about this book being a sting, with as overt as they are about their bogus business set ups for cc charges. Another poster here, several months before I registered to post, made comments about getting payouts at a brick and mortar casino here in the US from this book.............If it walks like a duck? well you know!

Alot of people have made money recently on "flu" games, but this was pathetic behavior from a book which is trying to improve its image. I can name a couple of books which were slow to act on this game and they just took their lumps.

No justification at all--just a book taking a shot and seeing how much bad ink they have to endure. If they make this right--please come back and tell us.

If you find out about the injury before them and bet it, that is fair. Fill out a complaint.

Yes DLS was doing silly things after leaving Futurebet in order to get the job done. We told their host that the behavior was a concern that would hold them back. Apparently procedure has changed so we will have to see.

Hi Elsa,

We forwarded your email to mgt. My guess is they will pay you for this bet but I will update you ASAP. We are going to look for evidence that all players are paid for this wager.

Line history shows quite a few books probably took that one on the chin.

While it is not relevant to your dispute, can you tell us exactly when the bet was placed? It looks like a 9:05 start and 3 hours before means they canceled a bet made well before the line jumped.

3 hours before is when she placed the bet not cancelled it, if that is what you are referring to.

Yes, there isn't a timestamp on the ticket that I can see.

Even if the number was 6 or 7 points STALE, the line had been posted correctly at -6 and was fair game until the book moved it. A line can't BECOME a palp if it was posted correctly and never adjusted.

The bet was placed at 17:48 and the game would start at 21:05.

I was actually screwed out of the same bet. Had the same argument since NO where in there rules and regulations does it say that is a valid excuse to cancel my bet. Was given the run around and just figured it's better to shut my mouth than risk them keeping my money when it's time to cash out.

Any word on if you were awarded a win on the game yet?

DimeLine Sportsbook (SBR rating C-) agrees to pay all players for canceled Denver Nuggets wager. The book incorrectly applied a rule meant for changes in game date or venue to a Spurs player injury. DLS will remain under review as SBR speaks with management to verify that the sportsbook policy is to never cancel a wager unless there is an obvious human error with a posted line. All players who question a canceled bet are encouraged to write to Help@SportsbookReview.com.

Dimeline Sportsbook confirms it will not cancel any wagers due to player injury on team sports or valid odds changes. Management also tells SBR it will clarify the vague rule that lead to the error by its staff. The rule should apply to the time and place of the event.

Robert from Dimelinesports told me on last thursday on live chat that my my winnings would be in my moneybookers that day.

Since then i have been waiting and trying to talk on live chat but no success.

Not received any money or any contact from them.

I must think that this sportsbook doesn't deserve our trust.

Funny cause I had 1000 in there with them, requested a payout and I got a personal check from this Aaron guy. So if you want the routing number, checking account number, and the issuing bank I would be more than happy to provide it. Also there was his full name and address on the check as well. I also want to note that it did have DLS listed under his name, which of course stood for Dime Line Sports.

This book is very fishy, which is why I got my money out asap.

DLS was a mess trying to pay players while Futurebet was keeping DLS and player funds. The book is now in the hands of new company BTG Gaming in Curacao.

I talked to DLS host BTG Gaming, today. They say the funds are on the way. They blame the acct identity questions and the lack or rollover for the fact this is ongoing.

I agree with you. They made a mistake and should have got this resolved fast. I do expect you to have your money soon.
