Hi all. First off let me say that I have never had a problem with Heritage Sports besides them having good lines and them beating me. But today an issue has happened.

I logged into my account and wanted to make a $20 **** deposit during chat, Ive done this many times and never once had a problem before. I spoke to chat rep Alex, who told me the deposit was declined. I was shocked because I knew the money was in my account. Alex then tried to make a deposit for $19 and it went through fine and my heritage account was credited for $19.

I go to check my **** account, and I was charged for both the $20 deposit AND the $19 deposit! $20 isn't alot to some people, but when bills are due and at Christmas time its alot to me.

So I go to chat and talk to Richard. I was told to send in my bank statement showing the transactions. I did so and went back to chat.. They confirmed they received my statement and that the credit dept would look into it. I was told to check back in 20 minutes. I did that. Then I was told that the credit dept was very busy and to check back at 4PM PST but it would probably be earlier. So a few hours later, I went back to chat to ask the status of my complaint. I was told to check back tomorrow!

Now I am out $20!. I know its not Heritages fault I am sure its a processing issue, but I am very frustrated that I keep getting the runaround with this situation. First to check back in 20 minutes then tonight.. and now tomorrow!

I wanted to come here to file my complaint to let everyone know the problems I am having with Heritage at this moment. As I told Heritage, I do not mind losing a few dollars, but I do not want money taken from me!

Just a quick update 20 seconds after creating this thread and waiting hours today for a solution, I log into my heritage account and now have $20 available. I DID NOT WANT THIS $20. They without permission take $20 from my account and then expect me to wager it! This is money I could not afford to spend and now I am forced to wager this money.. This is complete BS! I told them I did not want to wager these funds I wanted it refunded to my card. Tim is who I spoke too and was told it could not be refunded to my card.

I am very upset with heritage now! It's one thing to lose money legitimately, but to have money taken out of my account, THAT I DID NOT APPROVE, and then forced to wager it, somehow does NOT seem right to me.

they just chose the easiest and simplist solution to their 20.00 error. too small to credit back to your card. just bet the lousy twenty and run it into something withdrawable.

relax you're getting worked up here. contact live chat or email them or w/e this book allows (not familiar with them) and explain that you want the transaction reversed not your account credited. If it doesn't work (which it might not) file and SBR complaint. As far as who operates like that? South West Airlines LOLZ I was once double billed by them and the assholes credited my account with credits for a future flight after it took forever to work out! Another 3 days later finally agreed to refund me and 5 more days for it to show back to my account. I know it sucks but this sorta of thing happens from time to time.

First off, you're obviously not an adult. If you were, you wouldnt have felt the need to sign up for this forum simply to post a complaint 20 minutes after you mistakenly had to deposit $39 instead of $20 and then proceed to whine about how you cant afford it. If you cant afford an extra $19, then sorry pal you're obviously not an adult.

If the took $2000 instead of a $1000, or even $200 instead of $100, then yes it's an issue. But I'm sorry, for $19 it's just pathetic. Keep in mind, they didnt take or steal $19 from you, you just had to deposit an extra $19.

With that said, I'm not disputing what they did isnt wrong. But it was obviously just a mistake and most of us realize that in this current offshore environment processors have these kind of issues from time to time. The fact there is a 3rd party processing payments is always going to leave another way for mistakes like this to happen. I'm sure the book doesnt have the capability to even process a refund for such a small amount, it's not that they didnt want to. I guarantee you if this happened with a $200 or $2000 deposit they would've refunded the money no problem. But for $19 it just not worth their trouble.

And for your information I had this EXACT thing happen to me with BetOnline when I just wanted to make a small deposit and try them out as a 3rd option. I got double charged on a $50 deposit. I wasnt happy about it, but I never once thought that I need to start a thread about it and bitch and complain about it. Shit happens.

What is the point of this thread anyway? you're obviously not going to get a $19 refund and everyone knows Heritage is a solid book. They're not going to stay away because of this thread. So what exactly are you trying to accomplish?

1) It was an honest mistake by Heritage.
2) I agree with you on the principle of the issue, regardless of it being only $19.
3) I'm not saying I'm a highroller and "who cares".

I dont see it that way. The way I see it is that if you don't have $39 to gamble, then you didnt have $20 to gamble. If you are in a position where an extra $19 out of checking account is going to put you over the edge and in such a tight spot like it apparently did for this toolbag, then gambling is the last thing you should be doing. How is he disciplined when he's obviously spending the last free $20 in his checking acct to gamble, hence leaving him with no wiggle room for anything? Wouldnt a responsible person just SAVE their last free $20 rather than gambling it? A responsible person would first have some kind of savings and not counting pennies to pay every bill after making a small gambling deposit.

so basically they tried to do you a favor by getting your account credited, when you contacted them again and explained that you didn't want the cash in the account but instead wanted a refund...they fixed it for you and ALSO gave you a freeplay.

so in essence you came on here claiming Heritage took your money when in fact all they were trying to do was get your money in your account faster when you were obviously trying to deposit.

Things like this honestly make me feel bad for some of these CS reps that get a bad rap for being "rude" to some customers... I know it's their job but I can just IMAGINE what kind of crazy shit they put up with on a daily basis as well..

Cloverfield, your "summary" shows you either didn't read what he wrote or failed to understand what he wrote. In the end it was resolved very appropriately, but in the beginning they were telling him the money was in his account and they could not refund it back to his card.

If you are still confused:

1. book takes money out of your bank account by mistake
2. the book (eventually) puts the money into your sportsbook account
3. they say that they cannot put the money back into your bank account/onto your card

For some reason, morons here see no problem with this. It's not a difficult issue to understand.
