Default paying back sportsbetting.com money I owe

To be fair, I do owe them money. I had a chat with a customer service rep from Sportsbetting.com. A year ago I had an account with them but I charged back the charges on my card because it was unrecogized on my statement when I got it. Opened a new account with them recently, ran a small balance into the high 5 digits. Since then, they locked my account.

I think the guy I talked to is a collector, as he deals only with these cases. He's saying if I pay them back what I owe from before, he'll re-instate the second account that I ran up with the winning balances. What do you guys think, will these guys actually return my 2nd account to its winning balance before it got closed? He's also saying the only accepted form of paying them back is **/wester union. Basically they're telling me "you pay us back a few thousand in cash, we'll unfreeze your account and put tens of thousands back in even though we suspect you tried to cheat us by charging back your CC". Looking at old cases, it seems players who have accounts at racebook, win4real, and sportsbetting got their winnings confiscated because of multiple accounts, which I was accused of having.

What would you do? What's your impression of their reputation, and would it be wise to send them a couple grand through P2P in hopes that I'll get my account re-instated? I do understand fully that I morally owe them money, I just want to know if these guys will stay with their word.

tell them to check back in 14 business days for the name and location and then when they do blame a delay on a bad "processor"

first you charge back, then you open another account with them and run up winnings. geez i don't know who's more stupid, you for doing this, or them for allowing you to deposit again and play. were you planning on charging them back a second time, but unfortunately you won? what is wrong with you?

If they were going to pay you, they'd just deduct it - why incur the fees. So no they're not going to. Do you still have a moral responsibility to pay them back? Your call.

the collector probably has no ability to re-open the second account and is just telling you anything to get you to pay up.

my guess is you will get nothing. you stole from them, now they steal from you.

they have your money now. well some of their money you owe. you should not have done the chargeback-you should not have deposited in the same book you did the chargeback on(although i guess your plan was to chargeback again, but you won). just forget it. they will take any funds you send in and keep it. then close all your accounts. and wait for your call. been with them many years. no problems. you will get what you deserve.

unbelievable, there are no words to help you, not that you deserve them
the only thing in your favour is the fact that books steal from punters as well

I just hope you have thieved off a book , that does the same to punters

With all of the other SB options you go back to who you scammed?

    You should forfeit everything.

I have contacted SBR about this to see what help I can get. If their management provides an official documented statement to SBR that I will have my account reopened with the amount they said they would reopen it with, then I'll give consideration. Obviously if I just handed over thousands of dollars through ** I have no leverage anymore in getting my account back, they could simply just tell me to F off and there's nothing I can do, and their reputation wouldn't be on the line. I'll keep you guys updated on how this turns out. Yes, it was wrong of me to chargeback, and yes, it would also be wrong for them to make a false statement about what they would do if I paid back what I owe. The amount that was deposited the second time has been charged back as well due to the account lock, so it's an all or nothing situation.

Welcome to chargeback hell, sinner. You can check out anytime you want, but you can never leave. Why on Earth would you open a second account at that place? That is like robbing a liquor store one night, then showing up the next day asking for wine recommendations.

Do yourself a favor, and don't make a third mistake. Run away from this, don't walk - run. Write off the loss as the penalty for being stupid, and leave with a clear conscience that they got their money, with interest. If you send them another dime, you deserve what you get.

So you've now charged back twice; I doubt you get any assistance. Mtneer1212 is right, move on.

You won't get much sympathy here because most of the processor problems (legitimate ones) stem back to chargeback artists.

Not only has the OP charged back both Sportsbetting.com and Win4Real, but add four other sportsbooks to the list.

Unfortunately, he embodies everything that's wrong with the industry.

this is not gambling. just theft. then to ask for assitance. know wonder why i can't use cc's and have to jump through hoops to get my money. sportsbooks think i'm him. they think all gamblers are like this guy. he shouldn't be coming here for help, maybe see a priest or get some professional help.

Good to see that he got a nice screwing. I hope he lost thousands. As Lou said, he IS what is wrong with this industry, and why the rest of us suffer with neverending loops of deposit and withdrawal hoops to jump through.

charged back twice the same book and you want them to return you money. this has to be nominated the best joke of the year!. if i was the sportsbook i would send you photocopies of dollar bills and tell you to go cash them.

vickbettor, If you truly ran up a small balance into the high 5 digits after charging back 6 different books, then there is justice in the world and I'm THRILLED sportsbetting.com is getting the better of you.

With a name like vickbettor, its no surprise you're a thief.
