    Default deposit at legends via skrill/moneybookers

    I noticed that at Legends if you want to deposit via skrill/moneybookers you don't automatically get a page where you can just log into your account and make the pay, you have to make it yourself by sending a payment to the account registered with the email address they mention.

    Considering that most bookmakers have that option why don't they have it? What could it mean? How safe is it?

    It's not uncommon when dealing with US facing books.
    It isn't a problem in terms of safety/security.

    thanks FourLengthsClear. So I gues it has do to with the fact that moneybookers is uk based.

    TBH, I think it is just a currency thing. These books are only set up to receive funds in USD so if your Neteller or MB is denominated in EUR or GBP you would be lumbered with the (very high) exchange fees. Allowing you to initiate the transaction from your own account in your home currency (presumably the same as your Legends account), means that Legends themselves will swallow these fees.

    Yes they do, but their financial transactions are all conducted in USD.

    If you receive a payout from them it will be in USD and converted at Moneybookers exchange rate and with their exchange fees applied. During the deposit, Legends allow you to avoid these fees by initiating the deposit from your own account.

    Allin1,

    We do allow accounts on euros and pounds but using Skrill or NT, the only ones that will go straight to your account are the ones in USD.

    For transfers in EUR Euros please send the transfer to: eur@legends.com and for gbp to: gbp@legends.com

    No it isn't.

    The most effective way to avoid this type of thing is with Neteller's VIP program which allows multi-currency accounts. I personally prefer Neteller to Moneybookers anyway.
