I hope everyone is having a good Wednesday! I cashed out a check and *************** last week with 5dimes, so no worries I take the check to the bank today and they are wanting to put a "30 day hold" on the check until the company can be verified. WTH is going on with 5dimes? It's been 8 days since my *************** request and still not in my account. Customer Service is getting worse every year it seems like. Good Book but everything else is going down the tiolet with those people.

So to all my co-bettors out there, do not request a check from 5dimes at all. Be wary of even the *************** withdrawal as they keep backing my *************** deposit day up, well everyday I call!

Sideloaded- 5dimes will not cancel the check and do another option unless I go to the bank and make them "stamp" the check showing they will not deposit it. What else should I do? Just wait the 30 days, it seems like 5dimes cannot just "Void" or "Stop Payment" on the check like most regular businesses will...This sucks

yeah don't deposit it if the bank won't cash it. Find the worst looking check cashing place preferably one with bars on the windows and try to cash it there.

Remember- I have also requested a *************** into my bank account and today is the 9th day and still no money! I liked 5dimes, where else can a US player play at with a book like 5dimes but better financial stability?

but it IS the banks fault. 5dimes sent the check like they said they would, and now the bank is the one rooster-blocking it.

Teaser- I am chatting with them now. They said they havent had any complaints about players not being able to cash checks with 5dimes. They are giving me the run-around without any solutions.

Guys, I have three banks I do business with. Wells Fargo, Regions, BkofAma...Neither one would touch this check! I am not making this up to put down 5dimes in any way either. This is pathetic and customer service is even worse.

tdog, maybe open up a different account somewhere else and just deposit the check; i imagine most banks will just wait a few days for it to clear normally.

No one play on 5dimes. I am chatting with the customer service guy who will not put me into contact with any manager. He responds back about every 5 minutes with "Just a moment please" Hell, He just told me that they were going through a shift change! I cannot believe I ever put my money on this site. No customer service person will respond to my questions because they know its not going to look good for them..

Nothing to do with 5D. It is your bank and quite frankly most any bank is going to put a hold on the funds of any international or strange looking check like that. Embrace technology and ditch the paper the people.

Just got off the phone with a manager since the live chat was a big waste of my time. I was told all the checks cut in the last few weeks have had trouble getting deposited and the A-C-H's have taken alot longer than usual. It doesnt sound good for 5dimes..

I did withdrawl 10/17 via A_C_H, and still have not recieved it today 10/27 and I will not get it today because my bank only does *************** in early morning hours. I am expecting it to got back into my 5dimes account at this point. They can play the processor card all day, but I am not buying it.

This is current bank policy 101. If you are a long time customer of a bank, odds are they will not hold your funds for any particular length of time. However, if you have bounced a check or two, and you have a low balance----bank policy mandates they hold it until the funds clear.

This is not unusual.

It's your banks policy. I had 1 issue with 5D as far as payouts go, but that had more to do with a holiday screwing up delivery. I deposited the check w./ no problems

Just FYI. If a Bank doesnt know a check, they will deefinitely put a substantial hold on it. I got a Bodog check one time, My bank said they would hold it for 10 days, so I decided to go to a check cashing place and they accused me of fraud. Said the check was a fake. Told me to leave and not come back. Just give it to the bank and let them hold for however long they need to.

usually the max international checks can be held before clearing is like a week or so...but 30 days is beyond ridiculous.

Don't take this the wrong way...I do hope you get the $$ you earned from your wagers but let's keep it in mind that the banks do have to be cautious with all of the gambling attention from DOJ lately.....at the end of the day, you are technically asking them for assistance in an illegal transaction and risking anywhere from hundreds of thousands of dollars to millions to give you what $2k - $4k to play with?

Show some patience and logic here....you'll get the $$ from 5Dimes eventually but I'd strongly suggest staying local also if you're that worried about liquidity.

Incorrect. It is illegal for banks to SEND funds for the purposes of illegal gambling. There is nothing illegal about them accepting a deposit. They are only concerned about the check clearing, nothing more.

Banks have been told by regulators and DOJ about the checks and the cashing of funds involved with gaming....I'm not saying it's right/wrong I'm simply saying the banks have been told if there is ANY doubt to pass on it which they are entitled to do.

I'm well aware of the technicalities involved and the lack of prosecutions for gaming laws on the books etc....but then bank managers and tellers will tell you they've been told it's like being the middle man in a criminal transaction....aiding is still illegal.

I just got done speaking with a Account Dept. Manager, she informed me that many players checks are being bounced and turned away by the banks. Again, I bank with Regions, Wells Fargo and BkofAma for over 15 years, never had a problem with my bank, credit, etc. Even A,C,H deposits are not going into bank accounts. 5dimes said they are going to stop payment on the check, which takes 3 weeks, which is bull shit as well. 5dimes obviously has some serious financial problems, I had money on full tilt poker I was not paid back on and it looks like I will not be getting paid anytime before Christmas from 5dimes.

Its funny how the Accts. Dept Manager wouldnt comment or blame the processors for the checks bouncing at the bank! I guess that is the players fault or processors. How in the world is this book rated so high?

16 of your 19 posts since you joined a whopping 5 days ago have been bashing 5dimes with either their check problems, which in fact this IS NOT THEIR PROBLEM, or that they rigged blackjack.
