Default Carib still accepting new accounts from the US?

I have been trying to sign up at Carib a few times per week for the last month or so but have been unable to do so. When I go to the "Open Account" page and fill in my information, the page reloads and says:

"Please correct errors and press "Setup Account".
We are sorry but the information provided is not acceptable at this time"

with the "Country" dropdown box highlighted in yellow. The first time this happened, a few weeks ago, I talked to a CS rep on live chat who told me they were simply having problems with registrations and were still taking US players.

A technical issue with their site should be resolved in a matter of hours, not weeks. So, are they still accepting new sign ups from the US? Any mods have any info (the rating page has no icon showing that they do not take US players)?

Unless this happen just recently they still are accepting U.S. players as Mr.Lou mentioned here back on 6/28/11.

I just got off the phone with Carib (SBR Rated B) and yes they still are accepting U.S. players however, they went on to inform me that they're aware of their website issue and are currently working to rectify this matter but didn't have a timetable on it.

Their timetable is quite slow...since I mentioned this back in August (Carib???)...

Yeah, that's pretty ridiculous. A website issue is something that should be taken care of in days, if not hours...

Good luck finding any way to deposit any reasonable sum there.

Why play at a book you had to beg to get your money into. This isn't how you should behave in our industry, so please don't.

They're not accepting new accounts from the US now. I emailed them last night about the sign up problem mentioned above.

    Here's the reply I got from viphelpdesk@caribsports.com:

    Hi xxxxx,
Thank you for expressing interest in joining CaribSports. Unfortunately, we are not currently accepting any new sign-ups from within the United States.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
