Default The Greek: are they stealing me money??

It's the first time i write in this forum, and in first i excuse myself for my english that is not so good.

I make a deposit of 1300 Euros (not withdrawal, but deposit!!)with the service moneybookers, and the greek applies to me a charge of 5% on my deposit (65 euros), they said that it's because my last withdrawal was made just 36 heures before (and i paied for that also 11 euros), so i deserve at them opinion, the appling of this policies rule :

    - "Transfer charges will not be picked up on incoming deposits if a withdrawal has been made within the previous 48 hours. (If an account is shown to be making excessive deposits and withdrawals over short periods of time, reimbursement of transfer charges for the account will be discontinued)"

They applied to my deposit 65 euros of charge, and i make a deposit by moneybookers, there is not one rule that speaks about 5% of charge (attention because with this trand, they could apply also the 70% of charge....), and the fee of moneybookers for a merchant is not morethen 1 euro (or 2).

I hope you'll understand my disappoint and this rule is commented alone; it's completely illogical (if one customer make 2 deposit and one withdrawal in one month!!).

I'm a customer of the greek from 10 years and i've never seen a think like that from them or from other bookmakers!!!

To pay the charge for a deposit: ABSURD!

    Regards
    Danny

I dont see the issue. Transactions are expensive. It's not necessary to make a withdrawl and then deposit the next day.

there's the reason, because if i have 5k in my the greek account and i must pay 11 euros to make the withdrawal, i prefer to make withdrawal for all money and later if i want i re-deposit if i have desire to place other bets deciding the stake.

I'm sorry but the greek is appling a rule that is inventing, there is no written anywhere about 5% of charge but there's at the top of page:

"moneybookers free deposit", without an * to go and read at the botton of page that speaks about this rule, and howewere this rule doesn't specify about 5%), and of course i didn't do the deposit by wester union, but by moneybookers, the most low cost service payment in the world, so do you still think is regulare what they are doing?

To invente and apply a rule to a customer???

If you're moving money around that much, you're going to pay fees. Small price to pay to have a safe book and constant action.

whe are not speaking about what i deserve or not deserve if i move so much or not so much money, read before to kill sentence; we'are peaking about rule, and there are not rule preview in the greek that says 5% of charge. Do you know what is 5% of charge or not?? Now i asked another withdrawal of 5k and i'm paing 11 euros, why to make a withdrawal do they apply me a charge of 11 euros and to make a deposit of 1300 euros do they apply me a charge of 5%? There is not rule that say ...5%...there is a rule that speak about free deposit by moneybookers (from all bookmakers in the world...ALL)..so now they invent a rule and i mut pay 65 euros: but are you jocking?

    Island,

Greek is playing fairly. While many books waive transaction fees, the terms you described clearly state that they are not waived (meaning you pay them) if you churn deposits and withdrawals like that. This term is reasonable - you can't expect them to throw money away on transactions when people aren't keeping money there and betting it.

I pay till 10k by moneybookers, the charge is always 0,5 Euros, from private account to other private account always, i can't believe there is a charge for a merchant of 5%, otherwise the bookmakers like pinbet couldn't work with 105 margin (they'd go in lose with every customer....)....do you agree or not?

Do you think they pay 5% for every transaction??

Not even if they show me that i could believe that...

No - cos most depositers play many bets.

Merchants do pay several % transaction fees btw, although don't think it's quite as much as 5% (unless you're depositing via CC through moneybookers, in which case I wouldn't be surprised).

I got drilled by this one time. I pulled out 2 grand or something like that. I left a little bit in there for action. Since it was 'house' money, I just pissed it away. I wanted to reload some back in... so I deposited it and got drilled by this deposit after withdrawal within last 36 hours or whtaever the **** it is.

Personally, I didn't like it at the time. Thought it was some kind of bullshit... but now I just don't let this happen again. Bottom line. You won't get bit by it again.

I would really like to know how much are the fees for bigger books for moneybookers. Many times they charge fees for bankwires while they do NOT charge for moneybookers. I would not be surprised that there is some flat monthly/yearly or per transaction fee for each bookmaker depending on their volume.

Asian bookies who have the lowest margins available do not charge any fees for deposit/withdrawals and you can have as many of those as you like (usually one per day withdrawal, unlimited deposits). I guess they would also limit the transactions if every deposit/withdrawal would cost 5 %.

Most books give you free deposits and/or withdrawals, but only so many within a given time period. If you stay within those time periods you will never pay. Also consider this, if you receive a reload bonus does'nt this cover your transaction fee. They are being kind doing this much, of course they want your business. Although they are paying the price for it, they certainly are not going to pick up your fee if you do it over and over. Your just costing them money. Also, most times before you hit the submit button, if you read it normally says something like: (and in big BOLD PRINT). You are responsible for all fees that occur. Anyway at least you have been getting payed. Half the books on the web are shady and the greek is one of the ones that are not. Consider yourself lucky to be able to use such a service.
