I received my recent withdraw today (wire) and will continue to use this site. Sure sportsbook, doesn't have the best reputation but they've always paid me just fine.

Pluses:
*Withdrawals are still free to US players, unlike any other site I use
*Soft lines
*I've won and withdrawn at least 5 times my original deposit without issue or being limited

Minuses:
*Withdraws to US players are currently taking about a month (used to be within 72 hours every time before U.M.W. shut down)
*Strict enforcement of rules, including ambiguous ones has cost people a lot of money in the past

why would anybody in U.S. use a book that takes 30 days to pay them??? never understand why any1 wouls do that when any good book has cash in hand within 24 hrs or a check in 3 days...lol....ur deposit sinkd in fast im sure so why not ur withdrawl....goodluck any1 who chooses that path

Unless you pay outrageous W-U fees, all books are taking a while to US players their money these days. Its not a question of having cash on hand, its a question of finding a processor to make a technically illegal transaction on their behalf.

And to answer your question, I play at nearly a dozen books. For me, I want the best possible line. Payout speed is not really an issue, as I understand it is difficult to do business in the USA these days.

I actually don't think speed is a primary concern unless you're gambling with money you can't afford to gamble with.

From Thaddeus's description, this sounds like a great book for me, but I'm going to be patient.

5mike5, WTF is your problem? As it so happens I use 5dimes and in fact it is my favorite book. However, this is not a post about 5dimes. Some of us have need for more than one book.

Payout speed is not a concern for me. If it is for you, then look elsewhere as I stated in my first post.

Just wanted to update this thread to say I have made 2 or 3 additional withdrawals (and no deposits) over the past year with no problem. I have made well over $10K off the book - well worth waiting 30 days (on average) for.
