Exclamation New 10bet complaint of canceled wagers after line moves in player's favor

New 10bet (SBR rating C) complaint of canceled wagers after line moves in player's favor

    Player:
I placed 5 bets on (Redditch United vs Burscough - Full MoneyLine Burscough +340) odds from +340 to +320 10bet accepted more bets but lower odds. The payout % at 10bet was about 90% and the odds was in line with the market, but when the market started to move 10bet canceled all bets, saying that they had mistyped odds.
The sportsbook states they canceled the wager due to an error listing which team was home and which was visiting. 10bet "typing mistakes" have been costly to players in the past. The majority of negative feedback from 10bet users references some type of canceled bet or error in the way the wager was listed.

Please downgrade this scam book to F+ SBR

It is really time to do this.

10bet is the worst european book around.

    This book is simply horrible

I really liked them in beginning but I stopped playing there long time ago after a slight problem with funds (which I have received in the end).
that 8X rollover is crazy. I am just wandering why they have not made it "35x rollover or we charge 75% fee"

Normally, books have the right to cancel bets like for example, due to wrong display of odds. I think it's every books policy. But as Mr. Dan stated that this has been costly for most of its players and having negative feedback and majority of the reasons are cancelled bets or error in odds, then theres something fishy goin on around then.

I remember the Redditch-game quite well. Rumours surfaced about the club being bankrupt, no money for players left and the club would likely be liquidated and odds on their opponent dropped like crazy to somewhere in the 1.7 on betfair if i remember correctly, but had been pulled anywhere else.

The claim the bettor made about the prices which were in line with other books when he placed the bets, I doubt that very much, else the bettor wouldn't have been taking several shots in a row on a very suspect game in lower-lower-lower league british football (and i'm talking 6th division here). Also, the claim "but when the market started to move 10bet canceled all bets" seems strange. It's very likely the market had already moved, except 10Bet was just really slow adjusting prices or pulling the game (which all other books did on this particular match), and obviously this guy took full advantage by placing small bets under the referral limits to avoid needing trader approval, which he definitely would not have gotten.

This doesn't excuse the void at all, but saying the price was in line at the time the game was bet sounds rubbish to me. I have talked about 10Bet more often on this forum, that it's really a shitty book if you try, as I said, to bet moving lines with them without trader approval (which basically means you can only bet tiny amounts, but, if you're lucky, several times in a row).
They also have this crazy withdrawal rule with huge rollover, also true.
As I said before, this book can be useful though, if you place bigger bets which are referred to a trader, you'll get them accepted or declined, but once they are accepted you will have no problems after this and they will not void your bet if the lines moves afterwards.

So, I'm not defending the book at all, but still the guys running into trouble with these kinds of complaints always make it sound like they are clueless holy samaritans placing a perfect decent wager which they could have played anywhere else if only they had known 10bet was a shit-book. This is hardly ever the case, this guy clearly took a shot at betting a price that obviously should have been moved way way down or pulled. Ofcourse, 10Bet should have paid the bet and kicked the guy out or just have all his bets referred, but they didn't, and that's bad behaviour (unless ofcourse home and away time really were reversed, a situation in which every book voids, but somehow i doubt that).
Nevertheless, this guy was definitely not as clueless as he appears to be based on his mail that was pasted by dan, and as an experienced bettor he knew or should have known based on 10Bet's reputation this was likely to happen with such a dodgy game like this.
