Default UNIBET STOLE 1500 Euros. HORROR STORY...

This is unbelievable story that happen to me with Unibet. I opened an account there approx. 8 months ago. I deposited something like 500 euros and played roulette in the casino. I won 3000 euros and then asked for a withdrawal. Than the harassment started. They asked for all kind of documents, and I sent them scan of my passport, scan of a utility bill, print screen of my Moneybookers profile page. After 6 weeks they finally decided to pay me my money via bank transfer. I said to my self, thanks God, I will never deposited a single cent there. But in October I received a bonus offer from Unibet casino 100% up to 1000 euros. An offer to good to refuse. I guess they were expecting to lose the money that I previously won there. But this time I was playing Black Jack, and after the roll over requirements were done I ended up with 1495 Euros on my account. The next day they blocked my account. I didn't ask for withdrawal, nothing, they just blocked it. After a two weeks an a few e-mails they finally asked for identification document other then my passport ??!!

Dear Customer,

Thank you for contacting us.
To finalize the verification of the documents please send us a different type of identification other than passport. It can be ID or driving license.

Please do not hesitate to contact us again should you have any further questions.

Best Regards,

Simona
Unibet Customer Service

I immediately sent them scan of mu national ID an scan of my driving license. They sent me confirmation e mail,

Dear Customer

Thank you for your copies

Your Documents have been forwarded and the payout is undergoing now the procedure of approval. Thank you for your cooperation.

Best Regards, Peter

Than again nothing for few weeks. I called them and asked what is going on. Here is the next answer:

Dear Customer,

The Financial Department informed us that the verification process is still in progress, and the situation is the following:

They have contacted Moneybookers to verify your account from their end. Currently they are waiting for their reply. When Moneybookers responds they will be able to complete the verification process. As soon as it is completed, they will inform you.

We kindly ask you for your patience in this matter, as it will most likely take a couple of days for Moneybookers to respont to our enquiry.

And after 80 days of waiting I decided that is way to long and started to call them every day. Finally today they accused me of multiple account opening and told me that will not unblock my account ????? Simona, the customer support officer from hell told me that my computer (note, not the IP address but the computer) is linked with other accounts. Funny..
Basically, this is the most idiotic explanation I have ever heard. They are accusing me of multiple account opening on a reload bonus offer ??? No comment. They are simply punishing me for winning there. My account was verified 8 moths ago, why didn't they block it then if there was multiple account opening. They are simply lying and stealing my money.

Well that is the situation. I have no intention leaving my money to those cheaters. I'm sending this to Betting Advice forum, Casinomeister forum, SBR forum, and Pounters lounge forum. I will also contact Malta lottery and gaming authorities.
I need help and an advice. I want to press legal charges. Should I contact layer from my country or some one from Malta? Any experience? Any advice and help will be highly appreciate....

Ivanco

how is unibet still rated B+ in our system? and along those lines, how often does our rating system get modified?

I firmly believe that they invented that story. When I asked them to tell me the name of those alleged accounts that overlapped from my computer, I was told that I can't get such an information. Forgot to mention in my first post, two days ago they unblocked my account, I even placed few bets. But when I tried to withdraw 400 euros via bank transfer they blocked it again...

A friend of mine sometimes uses my computer for Moneybookers transaction, but he has no account at Unibet. I have never had any problems with Moneybookers, my account there is verified in all the ways possible, I have 20 000 euros 3 months limit...

What really scares me, that I can not defend my self. They can say what ever they want. Multiple accounts, bonus abusing, what ever. How can I prove that I didn't do anything illegal? Just note the logic, accusing some one of multiple accounts on a reload bonus is insane.

I know Unibet as a very solid and fair book.

But this story is strange.

I agree with HeeeHAWWWW , my first thought was this might have something to do with multiple IP adresses or multiple ID´s

Please keep us informed with this issue ivancodido

I was told on the phone by their support officer that there was no IP addresses overlapping, and about multiple ID, I don't understand that, they asked for my documents, and they have scan of my passport, national ID, driving license, utility bill, print screen of my Moneybookers profile page. I'm running out of documents to send....

Interesting dispute you have here sir. If you are in need of some assistance from us, please feel free to fill out a complaint form and one of us will contact Unibet on your behalf in order to find out all the factors surrounding this issue.

Dynamic IP adresses are not a safe haven at all. Every computer has an unchangeable and unique so called "MAC adress" that is also transmitted. Maybe thats why you got busted. Hmm..

We have a good line of communications with Unibet. If you fill out the complaint that BBD linked do, we can get to the bottom of it.

WHY should I open multiple accounts on a reload bonus???
It was not a sign up bonus, so there is no money attached...
They tricked me to deposit with their generous offer and then stole my deposit...

They're certainly not unchangeable. We used to change them all the time when I was at university in order to access the network (using the MAC address of a machine registered on the network)

I don't know much about the things that you are talking about, but the starting assumption is wrong. You are all thinking about how I get caught, but I didn't do anything to be caught in. I was tricked to deposit and then ripped off. Unibet can't stand winning players, that's it.
I'm waiting on the outcome of my complaint, but in the mean time can anyone advice me how to prepare a legal charges against Unibet? Should I contact a layer from Malta or something? It is small amount of money, but I have a clear case...

To be perfectly honest I have no experience with this particular book or many from this part of the world so my advice is probably poor ---- i'd suggest asking santo or hehawwww.

But, I will tell you this: Justin7 is your best bet at getting a reasonable solution. If you've filed a complaint with SBR, they are working on it. They don't have a lot of influence with books from this part of the world, but he is probably the best hope you have outside of Maltese authorities (who honestly probably are completely ****ing worthless). Don't hire an attorney -- no one out there will know how books work better than Justin, and SBR will do it for free.

Yes, I was told that Malta LGA don't care much about player's rights. They only care for the money coming from the bookies. It is unbelievable frustrating that outside people from SBR and Caisonomeister there is no other that can help you with cases like this. Players are practicly in the mercy of some security officer in some casino who is maybe having a bad day. I'm so angry with thes, that I'm seriusly thinking of going on Malta and paying visit to Unibet office. See what will they tell me in person, and explain to me how easy is to steal somebody's money...

ivan--

i don't the deal... but if justin says he has a good line of communication there, i'd say you have decent shot (assuming this book isn't completely ****ing crooked) at getting a reasonable solution.

i am just starting to have experiences with these books (euro/asia) so i can't really comment generally, but usually they aren't particularly responsive to places like SBR --- it's a different world from the central American/Caribbean books for USA players that deal with SBR usually. But, Justin probably knows how these books work better than their ****ing owners, he will get to the bottom of it. Whether that means you get paid or not, I don't know. I should point out --- if you are opening multiple accounts there, he willl figure that out too.

Durito, I bet very rarely and very small amounts at the spoorts books. People ususaly open multiple accounts for two reasons, to avoid the limits that will inevitably be imposed on winning accounts or to get some bonus. I usually gamble in the on line casinos. Why do I need multiple accounts for gambling in the casino?? When I first deposited at Unibet casino I didn't even use the casino welcome bonus because I played roullete and that doesn't count for roll over requrements. After I first won in the Unibet casino, I would have probably continue to gamble there if there wasn't that six weeks documents checking. No casino will ever limit you, so no need for multiple accounts.

Ivan-

I wansn't acussing you, sorry if it came off that way. That's just generally been how a lot of the euro books disputes that show up here.

To be perfectly honest, their requests for ID are ****ing bull shit, and i've been through this with a couple euro books asking for ID that doesn't ****ing exist for me. If moneybookers has verified you, you should be paid, today. I can't verify a ****ing moneybookers account right now where i live -- and i have more documents than i've ever seen than when i lived in the usa.

I can live with the ID checking, but six weeks are way to long. But after I went through all that, and after I received money on mu bank account, which is indisputable confirmation of identity, this actions of Unibet are unexplainable. I can only say, they are punishing me for winning there. I'm so sorry for repeating this, but this posts are the only weapon I have right now...

Well, there is nothing new on my case. The account is still blocked. I know that people from SBR are trying to help me and I really appreciate this. But I just want to ask is there any organization in the world which decisions in this matters are obligatory for the bookie? I know about IBAS, but I never heard anybody got any real help from them... I just refuse to believe that my money are stolen so easily....

I have contacted Swedish police, the department for Internet crime. I'm really curious If they have any authority over Unibet. Take my advice, don't deposit at Malta based bookies. There is absolutely no guarantee for your deposits. If the bookie decide to confiscate it, there is very little you can do about....

Unibet are thieves.

I have a friend playing poker there.

She playing there, with rakeback at rakebacklovers 40%.

She played a lot and should have about 1500usd in rakeback but only recieved about 400$.

After several emails and phonecalls Unibet just ignore her emails and wont pay her. They say its only 400$ rakeback (But they lie for 100%)

They steal 1100-1200usd from her rakeback.

Unibet should be downgraded IMO.
