Logged on to BetOnline live chat today to request a book 2 book transfer and am told that there is a $100 fee for the transfer. I continue to sit on chat for over 20 minutes while I give the CS rep my account info and watch the auto response messages steadily pop up as he takes his sweet time responding to me. After 20+ minutes of sitting online he finally gets back to me just to tell me to email my request to the payout department


Really BOL????? Are you fukking kidding me????? you are charging me $100 to sit on live chat for a half an hour just to be told to email my request to the payout department???? WTF!!!!!


I have transfered 3x the amount from book A to BOL free of charge and it has taken me no more than 1 minute each time and the funds are sent within an hour. This is an absolute joke to be charged a $100 fee and have to waste an hour out of my day trying to get this taken care of. If you are going to charge an outrageous fee the least you can do is provide quality customer service.

I am no fan of the $100 fee but I will pay it but the least they can do in return is offer me decent customer service and make it pain free process for the $100 fee I am paying.

Just got a response email from the payout department:

We’ve received your request and will be reviewing it right away. We’ll be back to you within 24 hours. For reference you can find our full payout rules here

So I have to wait up to 24 hours just for the payout department to review my request and than up to another 24 hours for the funds to be transferred

WTF exactly am I paying $100 dollars for because it is definately not for the hands on personal VIP customer service here Hell do a book transfer with Legends and it is not only free but it only takes you a minute to fill out the form and funds are sent within an hour, 5Dimes live chat and bam funds are sent within the next few hours, Bookmaker live chat and funds are sent.

That is pretty eye opening. If you have to pay $100 you might has well transfer your balance and be done with them. I stopped playing at BOL over a year ago for similar reasons. Hey SBR gives them a B+ overall and an A in customer service. Maybe that is where your $100 is going.

Can not believe that I had to sit there for 30 minutes and give him my account info just to have him tell me to send an Email to the payout department. I just paid $100 to have some idiot waste 30 minutes of my day.

Whats even better is here I am 2 hours later and still not even a reply from the payout department.

Honestly exactly WTF am I paying $100 for when other books do these transfers for free and would have been done by now?

BOL CS is 50 lengths ahead of any other book out there as far as being THE WORST......THEY ARE SO BAD.

I actually opened an account and was going to make my first deposit and because of the cluelessness of the CS department I went back to 5dimes with my dime deposit.

alex has justified the fee by stating bookmaker charges one too. i think its an absolute joke. the fact that bookmaker robs there customers does not make it right for betonline to rob there customers who trust them with their hard earned money!!!! imo charging more then cost on book to book transfers or other withdrawals is a major F U to the customers posting up their own money. the poor customer service is salt on the wound.

Bookmaker is an A+ book and Bookmaker transfers the funds within 2 hours of the request.

BetOnline is a C- book in my eyes right now their customer service is crap and right now I am being charged a $100 fee for a service that I have spent 6 hours trying to contact a manager to find out why the service that I am paying so much money for is not being handled in a timely fashion.

This is about to be my second SBR complaint filed against BOL in the last 2 months

My two cents (and a question):

BetOnline's Poker Room is the only half-decent option still running for US players using Macs (meaning, I can't find another room accepting US players with a native OSX software client...to be sure, BetOnline's client still has a lot of room for improvement, but it works).

BetOnline makes it very easy for US customers to deposit, and so far in my experience, very difficult to withdraw. I requested a payout by Check by mail 3 weeks ago, and the only information they're providing me is that they're very "backed up" on payout requests, and that it should still arrive within "15 business days of the date it was approved." Since my payout window doesn't technically expire until the end of this coming week, I have given them the benefit of the doubt, and in fact deposited once more. After a good night at the tables, I just requested a payout by wire instead. They sent me a wire template to fill out, which I did, and their policy states that payouts by wire should be received within 10 business days.

As I am now waiting on a relatively sizable payout (between the two I've requested, almost $6k), I was hoping that someone who has had a successful payout experience with BetOnline might post here to give me some reassurance that they actually do pay their customers. I would hate to have to contact my bank to have them cancel my deposit charges and be back to having no site to play at on my Mac.

I'll keep this forum abreast on the progress of my two payout requests - please post your experiences as well.

Can't even speak with anybody in the payout department because email is the only way that you can communicate with them.

I have yet to receive a single payout from this book where they have not intentionally used up all of the time that they allow themselves. 24 hours means they wil sit on your funds and process your request on the 23rd hour, its fukkin slow paying!!!

the books that do transfers ( and payouts in general) correctly and in a timely matter are what makes betonline look horrible. if there werent books doing these things smoothly taking an hour or 2 tops, we might believe them when they say it actually takes 24 hours. if books didnt consistenlty do this for free, they might be able to convince us it actually costs them 100 to process these. the books that do things right gives betonline no excuse for their actions.

I told u it really is unacceptable for them to do this being such an upcoming book. Its not a slowplay when a book has it on the website when u will be paid and i do know that they are trying to get better at this. But like i said i use alot of books and if i have to wait on this book sometimes its worth it for me cause i find alot of good prices here and they have that constant bonus that works for me. I really do want them to fix these few problems they have cs and payouts, they fix that and i think they could be great.
Not really saying much but for baseball the discount on lines pays for the payout fees alone, because it happens so much.

Now they are claiming that I did not make my request until 2:35 p.m. yesterday and that payouts are processed monday-friday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Ok so I send an Email to payouts at 10:36 a.m. and receive a response at 10:36 a.m. from payouts but I did not request a payout until 2:35 p.m.

If it makes u feel better sharpcat i had to pay $250 in fees before with them for a maxpayout with them and had to wait 3days, yes it bothered me at the time but i did realize that the lines and the unlimited reload bonus no matter withdraw or not makes up for it. I hope u can over look this because the savings on lines that i have saved already with them far outweighs those fees.
If u think about this if i really cared to be treated good i would just go onto Betislands and they have the best CS out, or go on Bookmaker and they have the best by the book CS, where they talk to u "yes sir" and such. Im in it for the best lines, bonus, and the $, i could care less how good i get treated. The reason im saying this to u is not for sticking up for them but to help u out because i think we do some of the same things with books and i know if u decide not to use them u will be losing out of money.

Funds were finally transfered after 25 hours Betonline refuses to reimburse the $100 fee even though they were unable to deliver in a timely fashion. For the second straight time now Betonline has been unable to send my funds within the listed timeframe listed on their website.
