    Betonline (Read my complaints before Depositing)

    Although I have received numerous payouts from BetOnline, I've also had numberous problems with them. They have not been able to deliver on their promises. On many occasions I have been the victim of blatent lies from both customer service reps, and supervisors. They feel that it is better to lie and get you out of their hair temporarily rather than explain to you the problem (which I believe is lack of resources).

    I've had numerous late payouts, my guess is about 30% are late (longer than the extended payout periods) Because of this I feel I have to contact them everyday to check on these late payouts, and along the way I've learned that each customer service rep has their own story about what is happening. On top of this the supervisors are evidently so busy that they can't call you back in a weeks time after promising to do it on serveral days within this week (Yes Clark, I'm refering to you).

    To be more specific here are my 2 unresolved problems. For more than a month I've been in possession of 5 ** money orders that I can't get any money out of. My bank would not take them as they were unsigned by the purchaser (Betonline customer service told me to take them to the bank unsigned). I've also spent several days making trips to 5 local ** locations who all said they would not cash them. I got these money orders not on my request, but because my cashiers check request was not received within 15 business days after the cleared approval. This check was requested on June 29 and approved. On July 26 they issued money orders instead (I don't know why). Now today I can still not get anything for these Money Orders. The supervisor helping me keeps saying he will call me back, but evidently can't find the time to solve the problem or call me back and let me know why it is so hard to alternate the payments.

    The Second issue that is still pending is that I've had a book to book transfer pending for 4 days now and they promise 2-24 hours. For the past 3 days the customer service reps have ensured me that it will be processed before the end of the day. Obviously it has not been done yet, and now they give a cold response that says send an email to payout@betonline.com for any details on why your book to book transfer is on hold.

    Does anyone have advice on how I can resolve this problem? Funny enought I'm flying into Panama City in the morning. Maybe it would be interesting if I actually paid Clark a visit.

    I received an email from them a couple of days ago about all of the new and convenient payout methods as well as the higher limits and shorter wait times on these transactions. I had to laugh when I read this. They can't consistently get a cashier's check out in 15 business days and now they are going to try 7. Wow! In all seriousness I would not keep a lot of money in this account as you will likely have extreme hassle and difficulty to get it out when you want to. They are trying to snag new customers with big promises, but be aware their promises don't always come true. More importantly when they don't come true, their is no urgency to fix the problem's with there payouts dept.

    Let us know how this turns out. I too have had problems getting money out of BetOnline and even have been strung along by Clark (as you have). Hoping that my situation is resolved on Monday/Tuesday, but I'm not too optimistic until I have the cash in my hands.

    I have deposited many ## money orders where I was the purchaser AND the recipient. Can't imagine thats a problem. These guys are well funded so no worries there. No excuses for shoddy customer service, but I imagine some of it is growing pains. From the big 3 or 4 books I am constantly getting nonsense in responses from CS. In these troubled times we are working in you really have to decide is it "worth the trouble" at a particular book. BOL still offers opinionated lines and that is hard to find (ask SBRDax).

    If a guy has their grandfathered 105 lines i imagine just about any payout glitch is worth that. (it would be to me) If you don't have that i would still think their opinions would put you ahead of most places except for Pinny and Match (Bodog if you are a square line receiver). This is from a guy who watches all the top books lines day after day.

    Shit book, IMO. They responded to all of my e-mails until I mentioned the matched bonus promo. That tells me they're not a reputable or dependable book.

    I have been waiting over 10 hours for a book 2 book transfer that I paid a $100 fee for I have never had a book charge me a fee for this service and it has never taken anymore than 4 hours to complete.

    After numerous calls to customer service I too have been lied to time and time again and have found it impossible to get a manager on the phone to answer my questions.

    Piss poor customer service and piss poor banking at BOL.

    They have their place. Plenty of room for improvement, that may go unused, but they do pay. Always kind of sad to see a promising book lose positive momentum. Once they start dropping the ball, the question is how fast they can stop the bleeding. A year ago everybody was on top of them because of the software. That got resolved. Then they gave away the store with a combination of low juice and a 'match any bonus' promo. That was changed, but then payments became slow. It's not a good sign when different reps tell different stories, because that reflects that there is no real team spirit. Perhaps someone needs to start cracking the whip there and get everybody sharp again.

    very bad customer service issue..

    seems like a lot if big issues..... I will be taking my money out and moving on. Hopefully I will get my funds before the football season ends.

    This is a total disaster. How in the world do you go down on opening day of the NFL for the second year in a row? This is why Betonline has never gained the credibility of a lot of the more established books on the net. I can't imagine it'll be up at all day.

    It is poor going down today of all days, but im sure they are just as pi$$ed off as us. Anyhow Id like to balance things up Ive had an account with betonline for about a year and would say im probably winning overall. Now, Ive never had any problem withdrawing and have only seen Betonline improve and get better in every department, just last week I withdrew $7000 via moneybookers and it was in my account within 4 days. Im not saying that anybody on here hasnt had any problems, Im just saying Ive had none, I like betting with them and will continue to bet with them. I also think that B+ is a fair rating for this book, Ive been betting online for about 10 years.

    Funny how Alex shows up when he has an excuse but when his book is incapable of completing a book 2 book transfer within 24 hours he is no where to be found

    Whats the problem with book 2 book transfers Alex? Why can every other book on the planet complete them within 4 hours for free but I pay BOL $100 and you can not even complete the transfer within 24 hours (the listed time frame on your website)?

    Don't worry Alex we do not expect that you are going to answer this just continue to pretend like you did not see this post.

    Betonline, my suggestion is that your sportsbook have mirror sites which is what other sportsbooks use, it is very difficult - at least for me - to make bets over the phone

    I have never had payment issues with betonline but crashing on the first day of NFL is a joke

    Just deposit the money orders in your account. Sign them yourself or have a buddy do it. Not a big deal.
