I get a phone call from 1-855-489-2274. Person calls and typical cold call announcing that BetOnline is now the largest and best book on the Earth...blah blah blah. I almost gave this person my account number to check why a BOL rep would be calling me when I had closed my account with them. I ask why he doesnt know my status and he says he is from a third party repping BOL.

Not that anyone should have to go to the expense, but I use a magic jack when I have to hand out a phone number to anyone that might be tempted to screw with it. Just have the magic jack number forward to my real number, that way I can quit the MJ # anytime I want (or change it at little cost) and never hear from them again. Also defies text messages...they will not flow though to my real number. Basically it is analogous to using a junk email account to ignore spammers.

Like I said, you should not HAVE to go to the expense, but I like a solid barrier between my gaming and my wife/business life.
