Default Gamebookers - voiding and resttling my bet

    Hi everybody,
I'm a newbie here, thanx for a great forum!

I've registered with Gamebookers recently and my first bet with them was a bit strange experience. It was on ARI Cardinals v SEA Seahawks -3/+3. When I checked after the game it was canceled and they returned my money, although it wasn't push or anything like that. But the next morning the money was taken from my account and the bet settled as a loss (which is correct).

I've asked their CS about it and this is what they said:
I would like to inform you that this situation was caused because of a temporary issue in the system however the finale result is the write one. Since you have bet on SEA Seahawks in the game ARI Cardinals v SEA Seahawks -3/+3 which is a handicap bet and the final score is 26:20 for ARI Cardinals, even with the handicap advanced points your bet is a loosing one. Therefore after the situation was solved the bet was settled correctly. I apologize for the inconvenience and I want to assure you that the situation was solved by the terms and conditions of our website.

Anybody with the same experience? Do they do it often?
It just doesn't make them look very trustworthy in my eyes.

So what`s your problem exactly, they settled incorrectly then corrected their error when it was picked up ?

gamebookers is one of the best european books.

They even settled bets with "obvious typing mistakes" which all other book voids.

Beba, in your eyes it could look untrustworthy if you had won the cancelled wager, but the opposite happened. You lost. If the cancellation from the mistake stood, you would have benefited. So wtf are you going on about.

    Hi Beba,
Gamebookers is not trustworthy like Moonebeam says, it is a real mess. They are known for voiding NCAAB bets that are far from being off consensus. They like to use excuses and BS as you saw: "temporary issue in the system". They like to change UNDER/OVER in live betting to catch punters betting the oppose side. They do many dirty things.

So you bet, they cancel your wager. That is stupid, but normal for such shady book. Then you ask CS why the losing wager was cancelled /too honest for them/ and they resurrect it and regrade it after the match result is known and say the wager was placed correctly??

If this is true, you have to contact SBR and get out of the place.

    Hi,
I was betting handball live at Gamebookers, horrible story

I also had some offline work, like a girl from UK, but she told me to phuck off, because of my low English knowledge.

Hmm, ok I will keep your story in mind lucas.

I´m not married with gamebookers, but I had trouble with nearly every european book because they void/change/limits bets etc etc. Gamebookers is nearly the only book never done such things to me. And I play a lot there

I agree. This kind of benefit is something that as well as never happens.
