    Default The Greek

    So I've been out of the game the last few months and just noticed BetJam is shut down and TheGreek is banned for US players.

    Being in Canada - is The Greek still a safe sportsbook? I don't even see them listed in the live odds on SBR anymore.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    I'd say they are even safer now that they don't have US customers and therefore aren't in Uncle Sam's sights any more.

    I'm quite happy to have funds there now.

    Ditto what Hareeba has noted. It's been business as usual this week, and my withdrawal request today was completed within the usual speedy time frame.

    I am in Canada and just opened an acct there so I have lots of options to shop lines come football season

    I would feel much safer with my money at Greek, Pinnacle or Matchbook than popular books like 5dimes or bookmaker that accepts US players.

    Let's see if they start booking more non-U.S. sport action, they still have many categories on their second wagering page that have no lines.

    They will always be one of the safest books in the world. Like Hareeba said, they are even safer now that they dont have to deal with US Government anymore.

    Greek is good and safe but if you can play there they are a long way short of being the best place to bet

    You have Pinnacle and Matchbook available for US sports and you have SBO and 188bet for soccer and Betfair for just about any and everything else
