Unless you are into arbing and bonus whoring, it is not even close. A good local is much better than offshore. Problem is, a good one is very hard to find. Also, if you regularily bet over 1k per game, don't use a local.

Still would rather dabble off shore. A local gives credit and there is a pay day. You are boxed in to trying to get even on junk games. Would rather deal with off shore. More varied betting options also and open 24 hours.

I've always used a local along with off-shore. This is especially true when for futures wagers as I don't have to post the money for the entire season. Plus, both of my locals offer -105 lines.
