    Default Beware! Bet-at-Home

My own experience of dealing with this book.

    The history is:

I've opened an account about 1 year ago, made all deposits using my own Web$ Keeper (Russian paying system). This keeper is registered to me personally. All an all there was amount of 400-450USD deposited.
I withdrew once, 10 USD, it went fast and unquestioned.

Couple days ago I needed a little Web$ to pay my internet provider, so I clicked to withdraw 20USD. Total balance at a time was 210USD.

After that I recieved an e-mail from suport, demanding a copy of ID. I sent a scan copy of my passport, and asked in the same mail to correct some of my personal details - you can not edit the data yourself – you need to mail it to support each time you want to do it. My personal details which I provided when registered were not complete enough because I never wanted to bet for living, just for fun, and was not really attentive that time.

Then almost immediately I found my account locked and next e-mail stated that I had been banned absolutely and forever and would not be allowed to use this service any more never again. So my 210USD went away as well. This mail gave no decent reason (actually no reason at all) to this decision.

Any reason to lock me I can imagine is to get my money. Or big bosses are afraid of a better who deposited 400USD and now has balance 210USD. It really sounds silly. Though, I had some lucky bets recently. Why else bet?

Right now I got a mail from support denoting they banned me for incorrect info when registering. I had a right, according to the rules change my details at any time, what I honestly tried to do. (E7 clause of GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS reads: “Customers have the right to correct and/or erase wrong or inappropriate data at any time”).

So, what I am trying to say.

What are the actions of a customer-oriented company? If for any reason your personal details seem incorrect – the simplest way is to ask a customer to change\proove them. The good way is to do that before accepting a deposit, right?

Here is the business style of Bet-at-Home:

Are you a fur-coated quarter pound stone from Pandorra? Great! We trust you are! We trust you as long as you give us money. You wish to withdraw? You have one letter in your name spelling missed, ye-h-ha-a-a! Farewell, you are blocked and we now get your money. Never bother us again

It was not actually my case, I just used my name (my own name) twice in the fields “name” and “surname”.
A critical criminal mistake, right? A mail I got after I tried 4-5 times to find out what’s really happening stated ”You can never again open an account and use services of our company because you gave us wrong personal info”

This method of doing business shows potential risks for any other customer in any situation.

Bet-At-Home stole my 210USD. Avoid these guys and save your time and money.

Perhaps you are just an innocent victim but it's no secret that bookies have found that players from your part of the world have a high incidence of being involved in fraudulent and suspicious activity.

If you've done nothing wrong don't give up on it.

File a complaint with SBR and/or IBAS.

when an Eastern European opens an account most of the bookmakers begin to panic-
    cheaters,false ID,bonus abusing,limits exceeded,etc.
I had many account suspended immediately after I opened them-with a "send us documents, please".
in your case you have made a mistake and they don't want to pay you.
But the reason is not that they want to take the money.
They think you are a cheater and want to prevent more cheaters opening accounts with them,
as well as to go in public space that they deal with Russian cheaters and eventual
    problems with their license.
Next time I think you'll be more carefull when filling personal info.

You can file a complaint here and at bookmakersreview.com

But I don't think you'll be paid, because of the reasons above.

Very interesting case. I would understand if BAH would close your account and returned the current balance. However, confiscating all the funds seems a bit too harsh, especially when you used your own payment wallet.

Terrible behaviour from bet-at-home. If what you say is complete true when they should be downgraded in ratings.

The "fraudulent and suspicious activity" is almost equal all over the world if we talk of compared money amounts. The people are the same everywere.

    That is a point.

It is no problem for me to prove I exist for real and use my own money. But nobody seems to be interested in that.

The issue may well go beyond those simple points. It seems clear from their action that they suspect you of something more.

If you're being 100% upfront you should have nothing to fear and you'd lodge a complaint.

    Have you? If not why?

Quick payouts Hmmmmmmmm , here in UK we get paid within 5 mins of event ending and in many cases whilst an event is still in progress , so "Quick" payouts means zero in terms of how good a book is , looks to me like BAH are ripping the poor guy off for his money , lets see punter in Russia with few if any avenues to explore and complain versus Bookmaking firm who by their very nature are after your money , yup I'm with the punter on this one . If they got doubts about his info fair enough , close his account BUT all money should have been returned to the account holder , Good luck guys !!!!!!!!!!!

If the issue is to to do with a suspicion of criminal activity such as money laundering then the issue is out of the bookie's hands ... they must comply with the law and the relevant authorities in regard to any funds held

Thanks a lot to Justin for his time.

"They state that the passport you provided did not match your account details."

Riding circles. If you wish to correct your details, we will block you because you have incorrect details.
Although the right to do it at any time is stated in BAH's own Terms and Conditions (E7).

So once again. As long as you loose money - you are welcome.
It means that BAH welcomes dirty money as well, otherwise they would check account prior to accepting a deposit.

Anyone occasionally obtaining your CC numbers or web wallet data can transfer your money to BAH with no a chance for you to see it back ever. To pay for his fun with your assets.

    Great!
    Long live the book.

    hello to all.
this post is just to welcome and thank all who read and answered.
I do not really suffer living in Russia. 200 usd is not a significant part of my monthly income.
I stated people are the same allovertheworld. A part of population tries to steel from another part.
Bet-at-Home tries to steel from me. This money can not bring luck. Your dick will lay down forever. Russian witch will do that for only 20USD. So I cover 10 managers of BAH.
    love your wives and\or lovers?
    forget it.
    shame?
I desided to block you from sex. You pretend and not fullfil.))))
