Bookmaker Stops Interbook Transfers
I just tried to make an interbook transfer from my BM account to my Matchbook account. I talked to two CS people who said that they are no longer doing interbook transfers "until further notice." Anyone have any info on this?

I wonder if they still accept transfers. This will suck if it becomes permanent.

Even with the exorbitant fees they charge--for a big player this is bad news if true.

Below is a live chat session I just had with Bookmaker on this subject.
Quote:
Chat InformationPlease wait for a site operator to respond.
Chat InformationYou are now chatting with 'CS - Victor'
CS - Victor: Welcome to the Live Chat Support. How may I help you today?
guest: Hi, I was considering signing up for your establishemt and was wondering if you do book-to-book transfers with others?
CS - Victor: We do sir, but at the present time, the transfers are up to our managers to authorize.
CS - Victor: We are not doing transfers to DSI, Bookmaker or Betcris at this moment.
CS - Victor: We are running some updates at this time, once they are complete, we will be able to process the transfers.
guest: any idea on what type of time frame before this option will be made available again?
CS - Victor: There is not a specific time frame, but it should not be very long.
guest: ok
CS - Victor: Is there anything else I can help you with?
guest: so basically it's at the disaggregation of management management for this option no matter what book, both incoming and outgoing?
CS - Victor: Incoming we take, but at this moment, due to the updates, we are not processing most transfers.
CS - Victor: Again, it is up to management to authorize.
guest: ok, I just wanted to make sure I understood exactly what you were saying (hence why I re-asked the question).
CS - Victor: No worries at all sir.
CS - Victor: Glad to help sir.
CS - Victor: Is there anything else I can help you with?
guest: Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions. Have a wonderful evening. Cya
CS - Victor: You too sir.
CS - Victor: Thank you very much for visiting our Live Chat Department. Don't hesitate to contact us with any inquiry you might have, we will be glad to help you in the best way possible.

Thanks for checking BBD; it doesn't seem to be a major (long term) problem.

I've got to admit, there are some really good things and some really bad things about Bookmaker.
They will pay you, they're loyalty points are good, and their bonuses are good, but their Customer service is terrible. It is getting harder and harder to find a clerk who has a clue what they are talking about, and they need to give you the tracking number on their fedex packages.
They never know where the packages are, when they were sent, and what the tracking number is. You never find out if there was a problem until either you have to make a fight out of it, or you log in to find the money put back in your account.
I had a clerk two weeks ago who took my bankwire info two weeks ago, says he processes it after I give him the info, and then hangs up the chat line before I can verify everything. Rude. And then two weeks later after checking my bank every day, the money is back in my Bookmaker account and they say the account number was wrong. How could it be wrong? I copied and pasted it. The clerk didn't give a fvck, was busy or got upset for no good reason and messed up my transfer. If you try to complain, they don't even care.
I had another deposit about 6 monthes ago where the clerk says I can deposit $5000 and get a $1000 free play credit, and then when I deposit the money, the book tells me he made a mistake and they can only give me $500.
Bookmaker has terrible customer service.
It just seems like they don't really care.
Anyway, I think they are waiting to see what happens with the UIGEA laws in the next couple of weeks.

Another thing is they keep call you phone every ****ing week right before the game time.
I use them last year and won some $. I tried to cashout and ask for free cashout from Loyal point whatever it is. CS told me that I'm not qualify b/c I got 20% bonus so I'll have to pay $60 for check..... I then ask for b2b to MB they said fee $100.
I was mad and withdraw all my money out........ Since then they keep calling my phone every ****ing week.... Even worst right before gametime which I try to make my move also.
Will never comeback there.

I think they are doing transfers again now but the minimum transfer fee is now $200. Is everyone else getting the same information?

I was told it's a $100 fee for $500-5000 and $200 for $5001-$9999 for the book I named. But I was also told the fees vary depending upon the sportsbook.

If you transfer funds to thegreek, then you are required to rollover the funds 4 times before you can withdraw the funds, correct?

I believe so. Just ask thegreek. They respond to e-mails fairly quickly if you don't feel like calling them.

You mean you sent a transfer from your Bookmaker account to someone else's?
I wasn't aware they offered those. A few books that used to offer account-to-account transfers stopped a while back (like thegreek). I know 5Dimes and BetJM still offer them, didn't know about Bookmaker though.

Cris family has offered them for atleast 18 months, probably far far longer. 5Dimes is only for NA users.

Pardon my ignorance, but what's NA?
I've only done one or two A2A transfers ever, not something I have much use for, but it's good know I have another option if need-be. Thanks Thremp. I only knew about 5Dimes and BetJM b/c it's listed on their sites and I did one at 5Dimes earlier ths year.
