Default Mysportsbook refuses to pay an in runnning bet

I filed this complaint with Sportsbookreview and wanted to give a heads up that Mysportsbook and there family may not pay inrunning bets. This is a copy of the live chat I had.

Hello, my name is Liam Grogan. How may I help you today?
mike: I would like to know why two bets I placed yesterday were no action.BET ID=261203145 & BET ID=261202545
Liam Grogan: Please bear with me while I look up your account details.....
Liam Grogan: Please find that “past post line on a 3rd & 4th quarter in running game Denver vs. Warriors, all the bets were set as no action.” yesterdays Nuggets and Warriors game for Fourth Quarter and In Running lines were all “no Action”
mike: Why? the game was live when I made these bets and very close at the time they were made. The score was not final when I placed these bets.
Liam Grogan: Please find that as per the house rules any wagers placed past the post are deemed "no action"
mike: The bets were place in the third quarter at a time when the score was very close they were not placed past post. Please check again.
Liam Grogan: Once again, I apologize for the delay. I will be with you in a moment.
Liam Grogan: I have received confirmation from our accounting department that these wagers were placed past the post and therefore will remain no-actioned
mike: What do you mean past the post?
Liam Grogan: Please note, our house rules state the following:
Liam Grogan: All bets must be made and accepted before the start of the game/event wagered upon. Any bet placed or received after the start of the game/event wagered upon will be void. Please accept our most sincere apologies for any inconvenience this matter may have caused you. Your co-operation is greatly appreciated.
mike: This bet was placed in running. Like tonight during the Cleveland Denver Football game you will set in running lines. Therefore this was not placed past the post it was in the third quarter after you had set an in running line.
Liam Grogan: As per our accounting department that is not the case Mike. The wager will remain no-actioned. Please note that managements decision is final
mike: actually you are trying to not pay a bet I won and you owe. If you look at my wages in the processed wager section you will see all the in running wagers have an x before the bet; prior action bets do not. Therefore these bets are date and timed stamped at a point in the third quarter as in running bets. They were placed in good faith after you had set a line. What you are telling me is in the future not to have any confidence in your in running lines?
Liam Grogan: I am sorry for any inconvenience caused Mike, however as per our house rules and managements decision these wagers will remain graded as no-action
mike: You are in violation of your own house rules and have not addressed the what I have said. You claim the bets were made past the post and when presented with evidence to the contrary you say the same thing. I have been with this book for over 8 years and have never had this problem. I stayed with this book despite all of the withdrawal problems and this is how you treat a costumer. I show you are incorrect and you ignore it. At this point I cannot trust any lines you put up during in running wagers as legit and that you will honor them if I win.
Liam Grogan: Unfortunately from time to time these things happen Mike, the line was left open on the site in error. When an error like this occurs we rectify the problem as per our house rules. I am very sorry for the inconvenience, owever please bear in mind that you have been with us for 8 years and this is the first time that such an error has occured

Straight Wager 11/06/08 00:36 ET
bet 1,000.00 to win 833.33 (paid 1000.0) Result: No Action

xNuggets 101
xWarriors 111 11/06/08(02:00 ET)
xWarriors 0 (-120)

2) BET ID=261202545
Straight Wager 11/06/08 00:18 ET
bet 1,000.00 to win 833.33 (paid 1000.0) Result: No Action

xNuggets 101
xWarriors 111 11/06/08(02:00 ET)
xWarriors 0 (-120)

Please note he first accused me of placing a bet after I knew the outcome and then changed it to a bad line. It irritates me when I am lied to.

First off, Welcome to the SBR forum

Betting into a bad line or past posting will get your wagers canceled every time no matter what book you play at. You are always more than welcome to fill out a complaint form and one of us will inquire to them on your behalf in order to get more details.

It wasn't a bad line. I have been doing in running wagers for about 8 years and I can spot those. At the time the bets were placed GS led 69-67 at the first time out in the third and led 78-77 at the second time out. Unlike WSEX, tradesports and matchbook, which will allow you to bet throughout the game, Mysportsbook only allows you to bet during timeouts. You refresh the page and wait for a new line to be set. This line was set by them.

same thing happened to me. same game. same line. they leave thier in running lines up after the commericial has ended plenty of times. i played thier in running lines enough to see it happens so often that there is no way you would know it is whatever they reasin as past post unless the actual line is obviously bad. they never cancelled a bet i lost when this happens but i guess if they lose enough then that would be the reason for the no action. the only reason. i have filed a complaint here. i would get it if my team was up a few more points.

I had the same bet canceled, same game, probably placed at about the same time on sportsbook.com.

I took the Warriors on the in-running at -120 in the 3rd quarter and at the start of the 4th to win the game. At that point, it was a 1 or 2 pt game and a fair line. I realized there might be a problem when the lines stayed at -120 into the 4th, even though GS had pulled ahead. The lines should have adjusted at that point.

The problem is they canceled my wagers from the 3rd quarter when the line was fair. Also, they did not cancel these bets until after the game was over, basically taking a free shot with what was probably heavy GS action. They could cancel all the wagers if GS won, or leave them be if Denver came back to win it.

I don't think filing a complaint is going to go anywhere. This book has already been known to rip people off in the past. I have come to expect these sorts of things will happen at the D rated books. It is the price to pay for playing at books with square lines and beatable prop bets.

If you are looking for in-running action at a good book, I would recommend Matchbook or WSEX.

They have overturned wagers in the past sir, so why not fill out a complaint form and be added to the list of posters that have been screwed on this one.
