    Default Las Palmas Checks--How Long?

I requested my first withdrawal from LP, a check for 2k, exactly 2 weeks ago today. They said it could take up to 3 weeks. Anyone here get a check from LP, and how long did it take?

SBR poster bettilimbroke999 posted his most recent experiences here HH. Other than that I really don't have much more current info on file for you.

Still no check from LP. Request was made 3 weeks ago today. I've exchanged emails with them and they claim 21 "Business" days is their promise--the equivalent of 1 month actual time.

Reminds me of the stall tactics I got when I used to play at Betmania. This is ridic. Anybody paid by LP recently?

LasPalmas and ParlayCardZ just recently consolidated, so I guess the transition didn't go as smoothly as they expected.

Day 23 (business day 17) w/o any sign of payment. Brian from LP says they are entitled to 21 business days. He blames the local situation, Costa Rica, for the processing delays. Las Palmas is quickly becoming a shit book, with shitty stall tactics.

Don't send LP any money. D Book in my opinion.

PS Could some mod link this thread to the Players Forum. Thanks in advance.

How is this relevant to the slow pay hh is experiencing?

Could possibly have got lost in the shuffle during the consolidation process.

Not a factor, IMO. If so, Brian from LP would have jumped on this excuse...he chose several others instead. They can't even say where I'm at in the payout process. Piss poor.

Day 25 (business day 19): LP service rep was no help today in determining when the check will arrive. Give it 21 business days is the response I get each time I call. I'll be making a registered complaint on this Book early next week when their self-imposed time delay runs out.

I repeat...stay away from Las Palmas!

If I stayed away from every book that took 21 business days to pay out to the US, I'd be left with 1 book.

I have 10 Books and that's the only that takes a month to payout--and I'm not sure that they will. Recent payouts from DSI, MB, 5D and Book were all done in 2 weeks or less--even by reg mail. Seriously.

the latter is a no pay F book.

the first is a pain in the ass, but they do eventually pay.

If you can get all you need at those A+ books, then only play there.

They don't give away money quite as easily as the lower rated ones --- except for 5dimes if they haven't limited you yet. Personally, I will wait a month for a check from a place that offers certain things I'm pretty sure you've also been playing at las palmas.

This is not about how it's easier to make money at B Books vs A Books. It's about getting the runaround at this particular Book.

Do you bet at LP, and if so kindly share any payout experiences recently?

Don't need a transfer back to Bookmaker (which I used to fund the LP account). I completed my rollover at LP and require a payout. Waiting a month for it is ridic.

The good news is you will be paid, the bad news is LP takes over a month to process a payout, after the 21 business days is up give them a call and ask them to check into whether it's been processed or not, they will either mail it at that point or offer you free **. This is not the book to go to if you demand fast payouts, I tried to request a payout on 9/7 but due to their "new player restrictions" and slow processing I didn't get paid until 10/29

Thanks and I read your previous thread on your payout fiasco. I'm just disappointed that a B Book resorts to slow pay tactics.

    Your feedback is much appreciated.

Update: Still no check from LP on this the 21st Business Day (29 days total), so they are officially in slow pay mode. I'm now being told that it will be sent Thurs or Fri by UPS 2-day, so expect it Mon or Tues. More BS I suspect. At best, I'll get paid in five weeks and I doubt that will even occur.

SBR: Complaint Form has been submitted. LP's 21 business days have come and gone, and they still can't pinpoint when the check will be sent/received.

I waited four weeks for a Sportsbook.com payout in Sept. Could sportsbook.com be a faster pay than tis B rated book?

A+ books get you your money same day, rather **,**, DC or Las Vegas, hence creditbooks are not A+ either. There is nothing a book can offer that would make me willingly wait a month.

LP stall tactics continue. I got a UPS tracking number on Friday that has no info on it--I've tried several times this weekend. I basically have a number on a package that is sitting on someone's desk--- w/o a check.

This really is a shit book. Tomorrow is 5 weeks w/o a lousy 2K payout!!!!

After the problems I had and the payout probs HH is having I can't find any reason other than being paid off that SBR still has them listed as a B book, this book is a C- at best, currently myself and HH are the only one's who have posted recent payout experiences and they are both extremely poor with HH's yet to be resolved, time for SBR to hit the downgrade button be4 every1 gets stiffed

I think SBR is in serious trouble on this one. If they're not pulling their eight getting these guys to pay up promptly, they need to be. Having BLP as a contest sponsor and then seeing all the problems theyre having is just not good business.

Check finally did arrive. The $2000 check was drawn on a Costa Rican Bank and written in Spanish--"Dos Mil Dolares", prompting an an extra holding period by my bank--10 days. So a Las Palmas check payout takes about 45 days total.

Glad I finally got paid, but I'll be even happier when I get rid of this joint (hope to arb out my remaining balance). So my saga appears to be over, and you can decide for yourself if LP is a B Book and worthy of your business.
