Default bookmaker SUCKS

last week, after calling them and asking about the friday deposit bonus, i went to western union in order to transfer money. i have plenty of money on bookmaker and sent it ONLY for the bonus. i get home and call, and they say they will credit my account with the bonus within an hour (obv i had to roll it over before i actually get it). the next day, i look and see it's not on there so i call and they say that i'm ineligible because it's for recreational players only. i'm like WHAT!!?? for one thing, i'm down around 50k on the site in the past few years, and for another thing, they told me on the phone TWICE that i would get the bonus. they said that this year i am up 8k so i am ineligible. i plead and argue with the manager to no avail. so not only do i not get the bonus, but i also have to pay their outrageous fees to cash it out. freaking ridiculous.

THEN today...
i call to ask how much transfers are to the greek. they say 0-4999 is 100 and 5000-9999 is 200. i ask for a transfer for 9999. i look later and see that they charged me 300, so i call and he says that 9999 is the same as 10k so he charged 300. he says i knew what i was doing and that it was wrong for me to transfer 9999. WHAT????????!!!!!!!!!! he reversed it, but warned that if i do it again i will be charged $300.

not only are some of their rules ridiculous and wrong, they have been rude and unprofessional on the phone many times. i have had other problems with them in the past, these are just the two most recent ones.

why are they A+??? because they cash out? i guess that's all it takes.

At least they cash out relatively timely. Unfortunately, most books don't.

Their sister book, Diamond, is putting limit collars of $500 on customers who have minimal positive balances. Not a good pattern here.

OH MY GOD i am on tilt

i just looked at my bet points, thinking i have built them up since i havent looked in a couple of months and have been betting a lot, and i have ZERO POINTS.

i call to ask them about it and they say im ineligible because im not a "recreational" player. I AM DOWN AT LEAST 150K ON THE SITE. they say that im up 32k all together, which is an OUTRIGHT LIE. even if it WAS true, they should contact you and tell you that they cut you off.

it's one thing after the other with these clowns. I AM DONE WITH THEM.

They charge ridiculous fees for transfers and cashouts, and they dont even offer reduced juice.

Does Bookmaker also put limit collars on members with positive balances? Just curious if they do this same crap as their sister site, Diamond

At the very least, they stop giving betpoints to sharp/winning bettors. Not sure about limit collars.

i think almost all bookies do not give bonus to non-recreational players. because my friend from one of the bookie im using haven't got the bonuses offered because he is non-recreational player. that was what explained to him.

Thanks juzgotlucky and John Dough.
It sucks how Bookmaker treated suzysuzy but I must say that it's cool if Bookmaker doesn't impose lame limit collars on members.

I totally agree with you. the friend i was telling you about got an email about that bonus and he was very excited and deposit more than the amount they asked for to be eligible on the said bonus and then after approval and claiming for it they said that he is not qualified because he is non-recreational. what the heck is the email for?!!!

so i suggest before you grab for their bait ask them clearly and let them send you an email as a proof that you are really eligible for the offered bonus. so no one mess with you if ever!!!

Their sales department often contradict with their customer service department. I have been promised certain bonus offers there before only to have them suddenly be 'not available or recinded' after sending the dough. I believe they are an 'A' from a safety of funds standpoint, but there are light years from an 'A' comes to Customer Service and Value and Ease of withdrawal/transfer.

We must remember, online gambling is basially illegal in the U.S. Not really a grey area anymore. At this point, I'm happy just to get paid and that there are a few solid books left. We're lucky to have found sportsbookreview.com. We're in the inside and know what's up!
